cold ❀ characters and what they symbolize

i wrote this book to symbolize as many disorders and diversity with each disability as i could. though none of them have lost limbs or anything, simple things like anxiety just feel like a disability sometimes.

here is what each character symbolized when i created them, and what they had throughout the book.

tyler has social anxiety.

brendon has anger issues and has the same cancer his mom does.

joshua has bipolar depression and takes pills for it each day.

debby is dyslexic.

ryan is blind.

melanie, pete, and marina have peer pressure problems.

dallon has multiple personality disorder.

ashley a problem with lying, depression, and abandonment issues when she was adopted.

tyler's mom is an alcoholic, and his dad has been a closeted bi man for years.

brendon's mom has cancer, and his other mom is transgender.

josh's dad is unaccepting to his son's sexuality, and josh's mom is addicted to painkillers.
