You chose to stop and cover your wounds.

Footsteps echo in your ears but still you signal to Derek that you should turn right and take a break, he looks at you like you're crazy but complies with your idea anyway. Both of you sharply turn right and step behind a tree when you start to grab the small medical kit out of your bag. You begin to cover your wound as the footsteps grow even louder almost unbearably deafening in your ears, have you made a mistake in stopping? It's too late to change your mind now; you finish cleaning yours and Dereks wounds as you begin to slowly stand. An eerie silence overcomes the area you are in and you begin to feel unnerved, these forests are never silent...

 You subtly signal to Derek that you need to run and he nods slowly in agreement. Grabbing your bag you quickly throw the medical kit into it and haul it over your shoulder as Derek does the same with his own bag. You take a deep breath and begin to walk further into the woods when suddenly, you are thrown forcefully into a tree and a sickening thud fills your ears. There stood in front of you is a vampire, it's large prominent fangs on display in your face. Derek cowers away in fear confusion over what to do, what he should do. But what do you choose to do? Do you try to attack the vampire, spit in its face or hope Derek does something quickly?
