The predator finds his prey

Chapter 10

Erwin's POV

Levi told me to go to Eren's village and bring back one of his friends Armin. I can start to see the village and luckily I have a drawing of this person named Armin. 

Flashback

"Erwin I want you to go to Eren's village and find his friend Armin. I had Eren draw a picture of him and he wrote the directions to get there." Levi said handing me the picture he told me about. I nodded in understanding and started to pack some food, fresh water and some clothes, just in case. You never know. I was interrupted by a knock on my door. I looked up and saw Eren standing in the doorway. He was leaning against the frame one hand on his back and one on his belly. "Yes eren?" I asked turning to him. "If you find Armin, would you please tell him that I want him with me and that I have something important to tell him." Eren asked me. He seemed a little unsteady so I walked over to him. "Off course I will. Don't worry about a thing. I'll make sure to bring him back with me." I said putting my hands on his shoulders. Eren nodded and turned away from me walking over to Levi's office. I waved at him as I walked out of Levi's house and began walking towards the town Eren used to call home. 

Flashback ends

As I walked through the town the people looked terrified of me. I walked to the center of the village and Looked around, that was when I saw him. He was standing in a small store and looking at the items. "Excuse me?" I said getting his attention. He turned around to face me. "Yes."
"Eren asked me to bring you to him. He has something important to tell you and he wanted you by his side. So would you go to our village with me?" I asked him hoping I convinced him. Armin looked really excited. "Yes off course. Just let me grab some stuff. If you want to come with me you can." he said already walking out the store. I smiled as I followed him. He was kind of cute. We walked to a farm which was growing carrots. "You are more than welcome to sit down as I pack my things." He said pointing me to the living room. "Thank you." I said sitting down. "I would pack a few months worth of clothes if I were you." I called after him. "Why is that?" he asked turning to me with a confused look on his face. "I'm sure Eren is going to keep you there for the remaining time of the pregnancy. He has been begging Levi to go get you and now Levi gave in." I explained. Armin nodded and went to pack his things which didn't took long. As he pulled his bag down the stairs I got up. "Ready to go?" I asked taking the bag from him. "Thank you and yes I'm ready." He said blushing. We walked out of his house. "Did you tell your Grandfather you were leaving?" I asked the blond coconut beside me. "Yeah I left a note saying I would be gone for a while. How did you know about Grandfather?" He asked. "Eren talked about you all the time. He told me that your Grandfather is the Grandfather he never had." I explained myself. Normally I wouldn't explain my actions because I never had to but I just had a feeling Armin would be understanding if I did. We walked in silence for a while until Armin started asking about Eren. 

Armin's POV

"I never got your name." I said to the huge man beside me. I notice the first time I saw him that he was something different and I liked it. "It's Erwin. I already know your name." He said smiling down at me. "I bet you do." I answered back, still walking. The walk back to there village took us about three hours. I thought it was much further since Eren never visits. When the village came into view I stopped. "It's huge!!!" I exclaimed in awe. Erwin just chuckled. "Yes it is, but you'll get used to it. I'll show you to Levi's house." He said walking in a random direction. "Okay." I said following him to this really huge house. It was the biggest in the whole village. "Eren is inside probably waiting for you so go ahead and go in." Erwin said opening the door for me. I nodded and then walked in the house. I spotted Eren in the living room sitting on the couch waiting. When he noticed me he got up and walked over to me. He hugged me and started crying. "Are you okay Eren? What happened?" I asked worried something did happen. "Yes I'm fine I just missed you and my hormones are out of whack sorry." He said as he let me go. Levi walked out into the living room and smiled at me. "Armin will you be willing to stay here for the rest of Eren's pregnancy?" He asked walking over to Eren and putting an arm around his waist. Eren leaned into the touch and sighed a bit. "Yeah off course I will. Maybe even longer." I mumbled the last part. Eren cheered a bit but then stopped. He probably realized something. "But Levi we don't have another room ready." he said turning to Levi. "Crap that's right." He answered. I was about to say something but was cut off by Erwin. "He can stay in my house. I have an extra room." he said looking at me and than at Levi. "Okay then Armin, you can stay with Erwin, his house is across the street." Levi said. I looked at Erwin and smiled. "You don't mind me staying in your house? I don't want to cause any inconvenience for your family." I said. Erwin shook his head. "I don't really have a family so they won't mind." Erwin said then turned to Eren and Levi. "Eren is it okay if I show him the room in my house?" Erwin asked. Eren nodded and Erwin took me by the hand and we left their house. He pulled me across the street to his house. "It's almost as big as their house." I said. He smiled down at me. "I guess that is true. I am the beta so it's only natural for me to live in a big house." Erwin said as we walked inside and he showed me to my room. I put my stuff on the bed and laid down. "What would you like to eat Armin?" Erwin asked leaning on the doorpost. "Whatever you make is fine." I answered with a smile. As he turned around I got up and followed him downstairs to the kitchen. I watched him cook for a while. "Can I help?" I asked suddenly. "Yeah if you want. You can start chopping up the vegetables." he said handing me an apron. I was doing well chopping the vegetables until I accidentally cut myself on the knife. I made a startled noise and turned to the sink. "I'll get you a band aid,  just rinse it under cold water until I'm back." Erwin said. I felt like a idiot, I've never cut myself while cooking before. Erwin got back and turned the tap of. He patted the cut dry and put the band aid on. "Better?" he asked. I nodded and didn't look at him so he couldn't see the blush on my face. After dinner I cleaned the dishes and put everything away. Erwin put the left overs in food containers and stored them in the fridge. "The food was delicious, thank you Erwin." I said turning to him. He smiled and then patted my head. "There is no need to thank me Armin." He said then walked away.
