Chapter 12

Eren's POV

Armin and Erwin left a few minutes ago when I remembered something. "Shit." I called making Levi come running from the kitchen. "What is it?" He asked worried. "Armin should be going into heat very soon." I said beginning to get up but Levi stopped me. "How soon?" He asked. "Like tomorrow. What are we going to do?" I asked Levi. "We are going to do nothing. Erwin and Armin will mate tomorrow, hopefully Erwin doesn't start his rut at the same time." He answered. We both sighed and sat down on the couch. It was getting harder for me to stand up and do normal things, but I wouldn't tell Levi that. I rubbed my six -almost seven- month pregnant belly and began singing to the baby growing inside of me. Levi walked over and rubbed my belly. "It's daddy...Do me a favor and take it easy on mommy, he has been a little restless lately." He smiled and kissed my belly and then my lips. I smiled at him then looked down at my baby bump. "Don't worry about me baby just be healthy." I said as I kept rubbing my stomach. "I love you Eren." Levi said smiling and then kissed my forehead. "I love you too." I said a little distracted. I was still worried about Armin. He might even start his heat tonight without him knowing it. I sighed again and got up, Levi looked at me and smiled holding my waist. "Levi I'm just going to take a shower that's all. I'll be fine." I tried to explain but he followed me anyway. "I'm still going with you." He said still holding me. I sighed. "Fine." 

Time skip to the next day

I woke up the next morning from a scream. "Erwin I'm pregnant!!!!!" I heard Armin yell from across the street. I got out of bed as quickly as I could and walked over to their house. I climbed the stairs and burst open their bedroom door. Erwin was standing beside the bed looking a little upset. "What!!" I yelled panting heavily. "Eren calm down. I'm not pregnant." Armin said laughing his head off. I was really pissed as I walked back to our house. "Oops he's mad at me now." I heard Armin say but I was to angry to care. Oh I was so pissed. I walked back to our house slamming the door. Levi looked at me confused as he pulled his headphones from his ears. "What's the matter Eren?" He asked. "Armin screamed he was pregnant and so I ran over there and he said it was just a joke which made me angry." I said. "Oh." was all Levi said as he put a bowl of oatmeal in front of me. My anger immediately forgotten I took the bowl. Levi sat down beside me and placed a hand on my belly. "I can't wait." Levi said as he looked at me. "Neither can I, but what if Armin did get pregnant? What would happen then Levi?" I asked still worried for my best friend. "Erwin would protect Armin and the pup to no end. He would risk his live for Armin and the pup if Armin was pregnant." Levi said smiling reassuringly at me. It made me relax a little. "Don't get stressed about it Eren, just stay calm for the baby." I nodded leaning onto Levi's shoulder, eating my oatmeal. Armin walked in the door a few minutes later. "Eren, I'm sorry I scared you. Also for making you think I was pregnant." Armin said bowing his head down and his hands between his legs meaning he was really sorry. "I forgive you." I said smiling at him. He turned his face up and looked at me with a happy smile. "Oh Erwin and I want you and Levi to come over for dinner tonight." Armin said. I looked at Levi and he nodded. "We'll be there later Armin." I said then Armin left and walked back to their house preparing for the dinner. Twenty minutes later I got up and stretched. "I'm going to take a nap Levi. I'm a bit tired." I said. Levi nodded and helped me upstairs. After he made sure I was okay, he left to work. 

Levi's POV

I put Eren to bed and walked back to my office. There was a mountain of paperwork waiting on my desk that needed to be done. I sighed as I started working. I signed several papers and organized until it was time to wake Eren again. I walked up the stairs and opened our bedroom door. After a quick look around I saw Eren was not in the room. This was nothing out of the ordinary. He was probably in the nursery cleaning or just sitting in the rocking chair. He would do that some times if the baby was restless and didn't stop kicking him. I opened the door but didn't see him there. Now I was beginning to get worried. I walked around the house searching for him. I called his name but didn't get a response. When I had searched the whole house and couldn't find him I ran out the door and to Erwin's house. Maybe he was already there and I didn't hear him say he was going. Yeah that was what happened. I knocked on the door and waited impatiently until it opened. Armin opened the door. "Levi you're early and where is Eren?" He asked a bit surprised. "Eren isn't here." I said. Armin shook his head "No I haven't seen him after this morning." He said. I was getting more and more worried. "I can't find him Armin. He isn't at home and he didn't say where he was going." I said. "You know for sure Eren left by himself?" Armin asked. I shook my head and that is when Erwin came up behind Armin. "Hey what's going on?" he asked looking at me. "Eren is missing." Armin said turning around and putting on his shoes. "And I think I know were he is." Armin said as his eyes became darker. "You do?" I asked. "Yes I think it was Mikasa again." Armin said he walked out followed by me and Erwin. "Don't worry Eren we are going to get you back." I said following Armin.
