I was in maths, my favorite lesson, and we were doing percentages with increases and decreases. Everything was fine until my teacher said: "now we will go around the room, starting with (my name)" so much anxiety bubbled up inside me I thought I was going to have to pull out my red card. Everything was fine after but my chest didn't slow down.
In my school, a red card is an anxiety card, a card that when used means you can leave the class you are in and go to your safe place and not be questioned. No one is allowed to ask you about it.
