Chapter 18

Shawn's POV

I got up early and decided to go get breakfast. I walked into a little cafe.

Then I saw a very beautiful girl. I know I have Emily but this girl is just I don't know. She looks special.

I can't I have Em. I turn around and run back to the beach house.

"Emily, Emily wake up."

"What babe?"

"I just- just don't feel like this is working out for us." I say.

"What are you talking about? We haven't even gotten into a fight." She says, tears streaming down her face.

"Sorry." I say and run back to the cafe hoping that girl is still there. Luckily she is. I walk over to her and kiss her.

"Get away! I have a boyfriend! And don't you have a girl friend? Your shawn mendes right?"

"Yeah but I broke up with her."

"Big mistake idiot. Now leave me alone."

What did I just get myself into?

Emily's POV

What did I do? Why did he break up with me? I start crying. I can stop.

"Emily what's wrong?!" Matt yells running in.

"Sh-Shawn b-broke up with m-m-me."

"He's dead." Matt whispers but I hear him. He puts his arm around me and lifts me onto the bed then onto his lap.

"Hey it's okay. You did nothing wrong. I promise" he told me.

"I just don't understand Matt."

"Me either. I don't know why any guy would hurt a beautiful girl like you."

"It happens everytime." I say the cuddle into his chest and cry.

"What happened?" Cam says walking in with Hayes.

"Shawn broke up with her this morning for no reason this morning. He woke her up to tell her."

Hayes comes and sits by us. He rubs her back.

"He promised he wouldn't hurt her." Cam says clenching his fists.

Shawn's POV

I can't go back there right now. She probably has Cam about to kill me.

Why did I date her. I don't think I really like her. Desperate? Probably.

Matts POV

My heart honestly aches for her. I also think I'm gaining feelings for her..
