Matthew's POV

Maybe I shouldn't give up on Emily. She's just confusing me right now.

"Where's Shawn?" Aaron and Carter asked walking in.

"Upstairs." I reply.

"Why?"

"Called Emily names, got mad at her."

"Oh. EMILY COME HERE" yelled Aaron.

"I'm right here idiot." She says from the blanket.

"Why are you there?"

"Tired!"

"Oh okay go to sleep." Aaron says.

After 20 minutes she was asleep on my lap. I'm thinking about asking her on a date tonight, but I want to talk to Cam.

"Taylor, come sit here so Emily can lay her head on you." I say.

"Okay comingggg" taylor said.

Taylor is her best friend other than Hayes.

"Cam will you come here?" I yell from the kitchen.

"Yo" Cameron says walking in.

"Can we talk?"

"Sure man." He said.

"C-c-can I take Emily on a date tonight?" I ask.

"Yes you can Matthew, but do you promise you won't play her heart like Shawn did? Because I won't let her date Shawn anymore."

"I promise."

"Then yes, I trust you Matt. I'm thankful my sister came to magcon and has grew these friendships with everyone. Everyone from school just used her to get to me so she has never trusted people. Last year was so rough on her"

"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault. Now go get you a date!" Cameron says hugging me.

Emily was awake and laughing with everyone when I walked in. I sat on the other side of her.

"Hey Matthew Lee." She says smiling.

"Hey Em" I say

"Emily?" I ask

"Yep?"

"Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" I say nervously.

"Yes, I would love too." She says.

"Okay, what time could you be ready?"

"Six?"

"Perfect" I say smiling.

I have a good plan.

Emily's POV

I went upstairs to get ready for my date with Matt. He won't tell me what we are doing so I'm not sure what to wear.

I curled my hair and applied make-up. For an outfit I finally decided on a floral skater dress with sandals for shoes. Then, I grabbed my purse and walked down stairs.

"You look gorgeous." Matthew said. He was wearing khakis and a polo with vans as his shoes.

"Why thank you. You look pretty cute yourself."

"Thank you. Ready?"

"Yep!"

Matt opened the car door for me, something Shawn never did. We drove until we got to a really fancy place to eat. Matt ran around the car and opened my door again. Wow, he's such a cutie. He takes my hand and walks in.

"I have reservations for two." He says.

"Name?" The worker asks.

"Espinosa."

"Ah yes right here."

She takes us to a seat and hands us menus. after we order and eat we go to the car.

"Thank you Matt. That was amazing."

"No problem. But that's not all."

"If paying is involved them I'm paying." I say.

"Nope I am."

A couple minutes later we arrive at the movies. We walking in hand in hand.

"Two for the fault in our stars." he said.

"Oh my gosh Matthew I've been dying to see this since I read the book!"

"I read it too." He says with a smiling.

We take our seats as the movie begins.
I cried on Matt and he just held me.

After the movie we got in the car.

"Thank you so much for tonight. It was perfect." I said

"No, thank you for saying yes to coming."

"How could I turn down a cutie like you?"

He smiled

When we got home and matt turned off the car we were walking in. I turned to Matt and kissed him.

It was the most amazing kiss ever and I felt the sparks.
