A week later

Today is the day I go pick up Abi, and find out if she is going to make it. I asked Kian to come along with me again, since he has been the one there this whole week when I went to see her.

When we got there, I pushed the door open, the small bell ringing as the door opened. I continue making my way down the smaller hallway to the back office where Abi and her vet are.

I knock on the metal door softly and wait while she came to the door.

"Ah! Kian and Tish! Come in!"

I follow her into the room, Kian behind me. My heart was pounding and my hands were shaking like crazy.

"I-is she okay?"

I stutter. She nods.

"But,"

My heart plummets.

"You're going to have to give her a pill everyday, one in the morning and one before you go to bed, for about a month."

I take a deep breath and smile. My heart slows down back to normal pace. I get really excited and leap into the doctor embracing her.

"Thank you, Thank you, thank you so much!"

She laughs and hugs me back. She turns around once I let her go, and goes deeper into the room. She comes back with the small cage and sets Abi on the table.

"Here she is! We already gave her the pill so you just need to give it to her before bedtime."

She smiles taking Abi out of the cage.

"Oh, my little lady."

I gush. She lets out a loud meow and pushes her face against mine and rubs her neck across my chin. I smile and grab her away from the vet and hug her to my chest.

"Let me love my Abi."

Kian say's holding his hands out, I look at him quirking my eyebrow.

"Your Abi?"

He nods smirking and taking Abi out of my hands. I glare at him and get everything from the vet.

"Thank you again, really. You have no idea how much this means to me."

She nods smiling and tilting her head.

"You're welcome."

I smile before leaving with Kian. I set Abi with her carrier in the passenger and shut the door. Kian opens the door.

"So, do I have to sit in the back?"

He asks lazily pointing to the backseat. I nod.

"Yup."

I turn the truck on waiting for him to get in. I look back at him and he is looking at me with the 'really?' face. I shrug and wave him into the seat. He huffs and climbs up into the backseat and shuts the door.

I put the truck in reverse and back out of the parking lot, I stop and push the handle back up putting it in drive.

I pull out of the driveway and start driving down Hollywood Boulevard.

"She really just made me sit in the back, so her cat can have the front seat."

I hear Kian say as I turn right. I turn around to see him recording me. I smile and shrug, turning back around and driving to the Team10 house.

"I have to drop something off to Jake before I bring you home."

I say pulling up on the side of the road and running into the house to give Jake Tessa's signature, saying that she is no longer apart of team 10. I walk into the house and everyone is rounded up in the living room. I furrow my eyebrows.
