Tish*

I'm currently sitting on my bed, in my small studio apartment in Sacramento California, I'm going through pictures from a year ago when I visited my sister Tessa in LA. I honestly miss her so much, as if right on queue I get a call from Tessa.

"Hello?"

I answer closing my laptop and walking to my couch.

"Hey girllllll!"

I hear an unfamiliar deep voice through the phone. I knit my eyebrows together.

"Uh, Tessa? Are you alright?"

I ask, beyond confused.

"Anthony! Give me my phone!"

I hear Tessa yelling in the back. Who's Anthony? So many questions were floating around in my head.

I heard rustling and talking on the other side of the phone.

"Hello?"

I say again, I hear Tessa sigh as she picks up the phone.

"Hey, lovely sister."

She says sort of breathless. I laugh in response.

"So, I wanted to talk to you about visiting, but I live with others now. I'm apart of a group called Team 10, and I would like to introduce you to everyone."

it doesn't take me more than .2 seconds to respond.

"Duh, I would love to come visit and stay for a bit."

"Yes!"

She screams excitedly.

"I already talked to Jake and he said it was completely fine and you're welcome to stay for as long as you want."

I can basically feel her smile through the phone, partly because I'm just as excited.

"Okay, i'll leave tonight at around 10 so I can avoid traffic, i'll be there around 2 or 3 in the morning."

"Okay I'll see you then. Love you Tishy."

"Love you little T."

I hang up and head over to my dresser to pack.

@Tessabrooks: Can't wait! 😁❤️

I load my suitcase into the back of my Chevy truck that I got from my dad, right before he passed away from a brain tumor. I still haven't switched the radio station from where he last left it. I turn the key in the ignition, turning on my headlights.
