Song: Sorry-Buckcherry

It's been a couple weeks since Anthony went back, and today is the day we all fly home. We're waiting in the airport right now for our flight home to be called.

Skip Flight

Its about eight at night right now, as the Uber drops me off at Jake's. I drag my suitcase up the bricked driveway lazily. I am very excited to be home, but I'm exhausted. I pull my bag to the side of the door, and twist the door handle. As my hand covers the knob, I feel my heart beat pick up, and my body telling me something is wrong. I freeze, with furrowed eyebrows I shake my head, trying to ride myself of the feeling.

I push my body into the door, pushing it open. I leave my bag at the door and quietly enter the large corridor. I put my hand on the door knob and my other hand above it, closing the door as quietly as I can. I can feel my heart pounding in my throat as I continue to quietly walk to the lounge area.

I slowly peak around the corner, my breath catches in my throat. I see Anthony, Erika, Jake and the new guy strapped to chairs. I cover my mouth my eyes wide. Erika spots me, her eyes filled with tears, her eyes get huge as she subtly shakes her head, Motioning for me to go. I turn, putting my back up against the wall, heavily breathing as panic overcomes my body.

I take deep breaths before quietly heading for my bag. I dig in my duffel bag for my phone, frantically searching. I grab hold of it, I pull it out and quickly unlock it. I dial 911, as I am about to click the call button, I'm grabbed from behind.

I jerk my body around trying to get loose, the grip only tightens.

"There you are." A man speaks into my ear, his breath fanning the side of my face. I stop struggling, breathing in and out fast, building up the strength, i ram my elbows into his sides. His grip immediately releases my body. I spin around, the man is doubled over holding his sides. I reel back and quick him in the face, sending him sliding across the floor.

He grunts as his back hits the wall. I go for my phone again, re-typing the number and pressing the call button, my phone is flung out of my hand, I snap my head up, looking into the eyes of the man I dreaded seeing.

Brayden.

He has a sadistic grin on his face. I quickly flip around to crawl to my phone, only to have it stomped on in front of me.

"Oh, my precious beautiful girlfriend." He kneels down next to me, pulling my chin to face him. I give him a cold hard glare.

"Fuck. You." I say through gritted teeth. He tilts his head and puts on a fake frown. "Now, is that anyway to greet your boyfriend, whom you haven't seen in a while." He looks my in the eyes.

I pull the saliva to the front of my mouth and spit it in his face. He flinches, closing his eyes and standing angrily. He roughly wipes his face off, he pulls his arm back and slaps me across the face, hard. My head whips to the side, my hand flying up to my face.

Looking at the ground under me, I convince myself not to cry, that would only feed the fire. I turn back to him, in one swift motion I sweep him off of his feet, he hits the ground with a thud. He gives a sickening chuckle.

He flicks two fingers up, I look at him funny, then I feel my upper arms being gripped onto by two men. They pull me to my feet and hold me in front of him. He pushes himself off the ground and stands tall in front of me. He slams his fist in my stomach, letting out a grunt I look back up at him.

"Hit me again, you coward!" I yell, he sends another fist into my stomach. "Again, you pathetic excuse for a man." Another. "You're weak!" Another. "Waste of space!" Another. "Useless." My voice becomes weak.
