Chapter 17

7 1/2 month later

Steve's POV

I sat in a waiting room with Raven for 5 hours. It finally a doctor walked in.

"Mr. Rogers, would you like to come and meet your daughter?" he asked.

I smiled and walked back with him. He brought me to a room and Natasha was laying in the bed hold out daughter. I ran over and kissed her head. I looked at our daughter.

"Steve, you want to hold her" she asked.

"Sure" I said with a smile.

She gave her to me.

"Did you to did you decide on a name" one of the nurse asked.

"Sophia Renee Rogers" Natasha said.

I nodded in agreement.

"I'll go get the birth certificate for you to fill out" she said and walked out of the room.

"Is Raven still out there" she asked me.

"Oh I forgot about her i'll texted her" I replied and got my phone out and gave Sophia back to her.

She laughed. Raven walked in and sat down next to me.

"Thank for leaving me" Raven whispered in my ear.

"Sorry excitement got the best of me" I said.

"It's fine I'm just teasing" she said with a smile.

"Raven you want to hold the baby" Natasha asked her.

"I don't have to" she replied.

"It's fine sweetie just be careful of her head" Natasha said handing her off.

The nurse walked back in and gave me the certificate. I pulled the table out in front of Natasha.

"You have better hand righting then me" I said.

"Your right" she said and took the own from my hand.

I looked over at Raven who looked a little panicked. I walked over and took Sophia from her. Natasha finished filling it out as anther nurse walked in.

"Would you like me to take her for hand and foot prints" she asked.

"Sure" I said handing her Sophia and the certificate.

Natasha's POV

Steve handed her off and sat back down next to me and Raven.

"Have you called anyone yet love" I asked him.

"No she was born 20 minutes ago I didn't have time" he replied.

"It's fine just asking" I replied.

"Ok" he said and grabbed my hand.

Then his phone started to ring. He answered it and walked out as the nurse walked back in. She handed me Sophia and set a envelope down.

"Rae hand me that envelope there" I said pointing at it.

She walked over and handed it to me. I opened it and looked at all the stuff. Then Steve walked back in.

"Who was it" I asked putting the papers away.

"Jane and Thor. They just wanted to know what was going on and to let them know when we got back to the house so they could come visit" he replied.

"Great" I said.

"Mr. and Mrs. Rogers your daughter is strong and health baby. She'll need to come in for a checkup in 3 weeks. But other then that you can go home after she takes the car set test in two days" the doctor said.

"Ok that's fine thank you" Steve replied.

The doctor smile and walked out.

"Raven you can stay with Thor and Jane till we get home" I said to her.

"Well I was thinking of heading back to CHB tonight" she said.

"Oh that's fine to. But you can stay with us anytime" I said.

"Thanks you guys for everything I really appreciate everything" she said giving us hugs.

"Of course like Natasha said anytime" Steve said.

She nodded and left.
