Chapter 43

Steve's POV

Sophia beat me to the couch and sat down. I put in a movie that we watch together when she was 5. I sat down in the chair and let her have the couch.

"A dad..." she said.

"What is it sweetheart" I asked.

"About earlier" she said and I cut her off.

"Sophia it's ok really. I just want you to know you can tell me anything" I said.

"I know" she mumbled.

The movie started and Sophia looked at me. I nodded at her and she smiled. Sophia motioned me to come sit with her. I walked over and sat down. She snuggled under my arm and we watched the movie.

1 hour later

Natasha's POV

I walked into the house to find Steve and Sophia asleep on the couch. I put my stuff up as quite as possible.

"Hey" I hear Steve whisper.

"Hey. Sorry I didn't mean to wake you" I said.

"It's fine I was planing to stay wake and take Sophia to bed but that plan failed" he whispers.

"You can stay there with her. I don't want to wake her up" I said.

"You sure. I have a magic touch with her" he said with a small laugh.

I walked over and have him a kiss and nodded. I gave Sophia a kiss on the head and went to bed.
