Jess had told them what happened, from Zoe trying to talk to her, to their argument, to the reason why she was crying, and when Bill had found her.

Nick patted her head gently, half smiling, "it's for the best, you did the right thing to tell her off, for now, just ignore her." The others nodded in agreement, she smiled up at them, giving them hugs, "thanks guys, I won't let it bother me." She said with her usual bright smile, they all began to walk down the hallway.

"I can't believe you thought that we shouldn't skip classes, I mean it would be a benefit for her, it'll make her feel better... A distraction!" Pouted Damien, the others laughed, "thank you for being so thoughtful, but really, I'll be fine as long as I don't bump into he-" her sentence was interrupted as she bumped into someone, she quickly apologized, opening her eyes as she had her eyes closed and looked up to see Zoe's cold dark brown eyes.

"Jess, we need to-" Jess quickly shook her head, "there is nothing to talk about, now if you'll please excuse us, we're going to be late for our class," she said as she was about to walk away, but was quickly stopped, feeling her grip on her wrist tighten, she turned around, glaring at her. "What's your problem? All I want is to talk to you," she said sternly, the boys were about to say something, alarmed, but Jess shook her head, signaling them that they shouldn't budge in. Jess turned to face her, she must stay strong, she didn't want her friends to help her, "leave me alone and let go of me and don't ever touch me again," she sternly said as she pulled her arm away from her. Without another word from Jess, she walked away, the boys only stared at each other, shrugging, and followed her, not paying much attention to the depressed Zoe.

"Finally school is over!" Thomas cheered as he stretched his sore back, Jess laughed, extending her arm outstretched to mess his medium red hair (Jess had dyed his hair a few days ago)- which reached above his shoulders, he let out a laugh as she did so, "we barely did anything today, just listening to the teachers talk about what we have to study for exams this week silly." He shrugged, "but still," she playfully rolled her eyes, giving a gentle pat on his head before taking his hand into hers, their fingers intertwining. "I wonder where the guys are?" She asked mainly to herself than to her boyfriend, "oh, I almost forgot to tell you, they said they are going to stay a bit longer because they got into trouble, saying that they got caught from kissing and practically about to-" "Damien and Bill aren't even dating, or are they? And what about Fred and Nick?" she quickly jumped in, not wanting to hear what's coming next, even though, truth be told, she supports the gay and secretly ships those two, but she doesn't need to know all the details about what they were doing, she doesn't want to show her inner-fangirl-self in front of him, for the time being that is; Tom shrugged his shoulders, "I have never seen them hold hands nor kiss, so I doubt that, have you? And about Fred and Nick, they have basketball practice today." Jess took a moment to think as they exited the school building, thinking back, she never saw them hold hands, but they would tease each other, mainly Bill would start the teasing, then Damien would play along, she shook her head, "nope, maybe the teacher misunderstood them, maybe they were arguing? Knowing them, they would usually argue to the point they have their faces close to each other, almost kissing." She said with a soft giggle, reaching Tom's car, Tom let out a nervous laugh, "you're right, hey, why don't we go out today, since we are alone, what do you say?" He asked, stopping to face her, blue eyes met gray eyes. Jess smiled, "sounds great to me, let's get going then." She said, Thomas, pulling out his car keys from his pocket.
