CHAPTER SIX

~•~

"My name is Jenny McCallan." She nodded, "I'm here to assist you thieves on your mission."

Here we are, at a motel that looked disgusting. It's walls looked like it was burnt down to ashes. There were rats everywhere, the smell of sewage water flooded the whole place. Who knows, the rooms could all be haunted.

"So, Jenny. Where are you sleeping?" Jae asked, a little tease in his voice.

"I'll be sleeping in my own room." She said, sounding annoyed. "For now, you two will have to stay in your room until we call you."

"Until you call us? When will that be?" I asked.

"Who knows," She replied, "Maybe till tonight. I'll bring you guys food. But you cannot step foot outside once you enter alright?"

"It's only 9am. You're saying I'm going to be stuck in this room," I pointed at room 267, then at Jae, "WITH HIM?"

"Oh come on sweetheart," he nudged me, "A day won't be that bad. It'll be worst than bad."

I frowned. "Can't you at least get me my own room?"

"Sorry, you heard what Alexis said." Jenny glanced at her watch, "I'll go get you guys breakfast. Remember, one step outside, you're dead."

*•.

In the room, were two beds and a lamp in between them. Jae dropped himself on the bed next to the window while I was forced to take the one next to the toilet.

I gave the toilet a disgusting look. "I won't be showering for awhile."

"Why-" His face looked so disgusted it was funny, "Ew."

I sat at the end of my bed, exhausted. We both were still wearing our suits. I didn't have any clothes to change into since all of it was back in the van. Which, I have no idea where it sits.

"This suit is itching me." I mumbled to myself.

Jae shut his eyes as he laid on his bed, lying forward on his hands. "Please, do not get undress infront of me."

My head snapped towards him. "Like I would ever!" I squinted my eyes, and faced the wall, avoiding his eyes. "I wasn't even talking to you."

"You know if you wanted to see me shirtless you could've just asked."

Again, my head snapped towards him. "I could kill you right now, did you know that?"

"You could, but you wouldn't."

"Try me."

Three knocks on the door interrupted our conversation. Jenny came in with two paper bags and folded clothes in-between her arms. "Here's your food." She tossed a bag to each of us, "And some clothes for you to change in. Keep your suits. You'll need it."

Jenny bought me a pair of jeans and a black crop top. Out of all the shirts and tops, she had to choose the crop one didn't she? Jae, on the other hand got a pair of jeans and a black shirt.

"Alexis hasn't updated me on anything yet." Jenny scrolled through her phone. "I have to go."

Jenny shut the door behind her before she left. Leaving us the food and clothes she had just bought.

"That was, fast?" Jae said it like he was asking a question. "Are you gonna change?"

"Indeed I will," I snatched the clothes, "But not out here." I stomped off into the dirty, disgusting, horrible, smelly toilet and shut the door tightly, making sure it made a loud noise.
