CHAPTER SEVEN

~*~

"Just asking, how exactly are we gonna know who the guy is now?" I asked.

"We have her phone remember?" He waved Jenny's phone. "We'll just pretend to be her, tell him we've done the job and ask him where to meet."

For the past couple hours, sitting in the plane next to Jae wasn't so bad as I thought it would be. He'd sometimes maybe disturb me when I'm trying to rest but that's it.

"About... The man in Tokyo, who hates me to the guts. How am I going to avoid him?"

I looked at him, "And I thought you were the sneakiest. What happened?"

He coughed, "Uhm, I-I hehe."

"Is the idiot actually for once afraid to tell me what happened?" I teased.

"Sweetheart," He pinched my cheek, "If told you, you'd just be really jealous."

"Why is that?" I crossed my arms.

"Because, I... His... His daughter." He laughed a little. "Yeah, I was in the middle of trying to snatch a ring in the Hinata house. Kuro Hinata's daughter, Sakura Hinata walked in just as I was about to reach for it."

"Let me guess, she found you and reported you to her father, blah blah blah."

His face looked like he had eaten a lemon, "Not exactly..." He buried his face into his hands. "It was her birthday, and she thought me being there was her wish come true." He bit his lip. "She told me she wished for a boy to 'magically' appear in her room."

I bit my lip from laughing and covered my mouth with my hand.

"And she's seven."

I couldn't help myself from laughing. My eyes started to water from laughing my ass off. I can't believe it. "You..." I took a deep breath, "What happened next?"

A small smile formed into his lips as he shook his head, "Stop laughing. She pulled me into a hug and called me her husband. I had to bend down to get her off me, but she pulled my mask. And that's when Kuro Hinata walked in."

I laughed again, earning a look from the person sitting infront of me. "You're such a dumbass."

"Thank you." He said.

I pulled my cap off and plopped it on to his head, hitting it a couple of times to make sure it's secure and just to hurt him. "Here. Don't take it off and you'll be fine."

"Appreciate it." He replied. "I know, you're hiding me from girls because you're scared they're gonna steal me away from you right?"

And we're back to square one. I swung my hand, making sure it hit his face.

"Ow!"

*•.

Somehow, we managed to steal our guns and backpack back. It was easy, until Jae kept laughing because someone's gum got stuck on my arm.

"Did we ever think on where we're gonna sleep?" I asked as we stood outside of the airport.

Jae's eyes widened as he thought of it, but it then lit up, "We'll sleep on the streets!"

My palm met my forehead, "I'm going to convert this," I pulled out 500 bucks of cash that sat quietly in my bag. "You do you idiot."

I made my way to the money exchanger, and converted the five hundred bucks that I got from stealing a necklace. In return, I received 56, 575 Yen.
