"I thought we're just going to buy what we need?"

Allegra looked at Bunny, whose brow was raised and arched high, with a wide grin. He was holding a 6-pack can of beer, and their cart was half full.
"That was the plan," he admitted, "don't we need this?"
"We still had some in the fridge," Bunny said, but then added as soon as she saw the dissapointment in her boyfriend's face, "alright just one pack."

The lad put the beer pack in their cart happily and took over pushing the cart while Bunny browsed the marinating sauce shelf. They're having guests come over the weekend and they were specifically looking forward to the barbecues so here they are, in the supermarket, looking for the ingredients they need. At least that was the plan until they started to actually putting things in their cart.

"Do we still have enough treats for Remmy?"
"Akari would love some apple soda while we drink beer, don't you think?"
"Ah I've always wanted to try this chocolate brand."
"Do you want to eat pancake tomorrow?"
"Let's get some fruits while we're here."

And so gradually their cart was filled with things they thought they need until Bunny decided to stop and head to the cashier counter. The lady greeted them with a formal smile and began to chat up as she rang the items, while  Allegra helped packed everything into the eco bag Bunny had never forget to bring. A few minutes later card was swiped and they head bag with their car baggage loaded up with groceries.

Remmy greeted them at the door with his tail wagging and followed them to the kitchen where they started organizing their stuff and Bunny started to roll her sleeves to begin to work with the meat. She hummed as she worked. A little sauce, some peppers and a pinch of sugar...

She fell silent, staring at the sugar jar with her lips curled and brows knotted. Allegra noticed her and immediately asked if anything was wrong.

"I forgot I ran out of sugar," Bunny grumbled, "I gotta go back and get some."
"Oh," Allegra chuckled, "I can get that for you."
"No. I'll go. This time I'll be quick and just get what I need."
"Okay" Allegra handed her the car key, a huge grin plastered on his face, "that's always the plan."
