Jaylen and I stormed up to my room, slamming the door behind us."Put on your best party clothes, J." I said, rummaging through my closet.
"Let's blow this popsicle stand.""Wait, why?" She asked, flopping onto my bed.
"If theres one thing Dad hates, it's unprofessional party-goers. And that's exactly what we're about to become."
Jay rolls her eyes as I pull out dress after dress, laying each on onto my bed.
"Seriously, P? You're going to make the situation worst by pissing off your father even more?"
I shrugged.
"He deserves to have a child that gives him a headache for once,""Call this a hunch, but I don't think your brothers and sister will be too happy about this. Especially Thomas," She argues, running her fingers along the hem of one of the dresses.
"What do they care?"
"Obviously, they care a lot."
"Obviously, they don't." I countered, pulling out a final dress then scouring over my options.
"Just forget about them and my Dad. Tonight, Jay, we're going to have the times of our lives."
"Whats with all the dresses?" She asked, standing up beside me.
"These," I said, running my hand over the dresses. "Are for you. As for me, I have the perfect outfit."
With a smirk and a heart full of angry passion, we started getting ready for the night.

"So, I'm guessing velvet is the theme here."
Jaylen and I smiled at our reflections in the mirror, proud of our work.
