"Boo, you whore." I muttered at the same time as Regina, Jess and Ari both gasped dramatically before we all burst into a fit of silly, sugar induced giggles.

Ariana was currently curled up on the edge of the bed as Jessica slapped her legs in a slightly hysterical fashion, and I was sprawled out like a starfish which is why they were squished together up the top of my bed.

A few moments later a dull thump sounded outside my door before Elliot's voice could be heard, "Would you girls calm your shit? It's three o'clock in the morning, damn it." He poked his head in and eyed the three of us in annoyance, I grinned at him and sat up before throwing a lollipop at his forehead. He dodged it easily and glared at me slightly, "Go to bed, all of you." I stuck my tongue out at him immaturely, he pointed a finger at all of us before his head disappeared again. We all sobered up slightly after a few more minutes and continued on with our movie as we munched on sweets and downed several bottles of fizzy drinks each.

I watched Elliot's large frame as he shoved his suitcase into his car with a soft smile rested on his lips, I tried to smile but it just wouldn't stay put on my lips. My big brother was leaving to college again.

A frown covered my face before I walked over to him, "I'll miss you big bro." I mumbled while he squished my body to his.

He let out a breath before anwering, "I only live two hours away, Rach." He murmured into my fluffy hair and I nodded slightly. He untangled my arms from around him and I watched him hug our mother as she latched herself onto his tall body like I had done only moments ago. He was eventually able to leave without either one of us attached to him. I sighed and rubbed my eye with my fist roughly before heading back upstairs, but my mother called me into the kitchen before I reached the staircase.

I sat on the stool opposite her and waited for her to speak, "Rach, I um-" She paused to gauge my mood for a moment, "I have to go out of the state for a week." She said quietly, I watched her with curious eyes for a few seconds.

"How come?" My mum is a lawyer by the way and my dad is a mechanic, they are both really good at their jobs which is really good.

She pushed a strand of dark blonde hair behind her ear, "They need me for a case." She sighed and grabbed my hand across the table.

"How long will you be?" I questioned.

She stared at our joined hands then back at my eyes, "A week, maybe two?." I nodded my head, "I'm going to get Grace to keep an eye on you while I'm gone, okay?" I scrunched my eyebrows together and looked to see her smiling slightly at me.

"I don't need a babysitter." I complained, she shook her head with a light laugh before she stood and headed over to the fridge then started pulling ingredients out.

"I know, it's for my own sanity though, honey." I pursed my lips and nodded slightly in understanding before standing up. As I was about to walk up the stairs to my room another question popped into my head.

I turned around and leaned on the rail slightly, "When are you leaving?" I called out to her.

"Tomorrow." Was her faint reply, I heard the clank of metal pots and pans before I entered my room again.

I looked out the window on my way over to my desk to see that it was raining quite a bit, the only sound in my room was the pitter patter of rain on the roof and it was calming. I love rainy days because you could snuggle up with a blanket and read till your heart's content.

After having a shower I chucked on the shirt that I had borrowed, stolen was probably more accurate, from Elliot. I spent the entire afternoon finishing homework and writing out essays, it was a nice afternoon.
