"Here she comes, buttercup." I paused just as I was going to take a bite of my delicious pepperoni pizza and glanced up to see Anne charging over to our table like a raging bull on its period.

Oh boy, this was way better than I'd imagined it would be.

"How dare you!" She shrieked angrily once she was close enough to be heard, everyone in the cafeteria halted their conversations at her outburst and turned to watch her basically sprint over to us like a madwoman. She set her almost glowing purple eyes on me and if looks could kill, I probably would've been buried more than six feet underground. "You fucking bitch!" She seethed, coming to a halt behind Jess and Ari as they stared up at her in complete confusion. "I warned you to stay away from him! I told you that he was mine, yet you still went ahead and decided to fucking steal him from me!" Her voice got louder and louder with each word that escaped her painted red lips.

"Well, hello to you too." I smirked tauntingly at her, Mason lightly put his hand on the top of my thigh and her eyes zeroed in on the action with her laser vision.

She looked like she was going to explode any second now, she probably would if I kept taunting her like I currently was.

"Rach, what is the she-devil talking about?" Jess leaned forward slightly, looking at me with nothing but pure curiosity on her angelic face.

I faltered slightly, was I suppose to tell them that we were actually dating or that it was all a favour I was doing for Mason?

"Uh...Mason and I are dating." I managed to make myself sound confident as the words tumbled from my lips, Anne kept her glare firmly set on me as if she was trying to burn a hole through my head. Everyone at our table looked at us in disbelief as they digested the news.

"Wait, don't you two hate each other though?" Ari spoke up from her spot beside Jess, I fumbled for a quick reply as my eyes shifted between the two of them.

I should've thought of this beforehand. Damn it!

Mason thankfully jumped to my rescue as I shifted my eyes up to glare at Anne again, "We did, but eventually that grew into something much sweeter. We thought it would be better to keep it between just the two of us. Less drama." I felt his arm slide around my waist and drag me towards him, I nodded along with him and forced a small smile onto my face as I glanced up at him through my lashes.

"I always knew you liked him, you lying bitch!" Anne stalked round to my side of the table and aggressively slammed her hand down on the table top between Mason and I. A sharp smacking sound echoed through the almost silent cafeteria as her hand connected with the table dramatically, she leaned close and her Victoria's Secret perfume almost suffocated me as she basically pressed her face against mine with a murderous expression practically glued onto it.

It was actually kind of pathetic to see her like this over a guy. A guy, seriously. "Well you can back off now because Mason over here is taken, capiche?" I snapped as I roughly pushed her back by the shoulder, she looked as if she was actually contemplating hitting me for a faction of a second before she schooled her expression into a slighty more calm one.

I easily removed Mason's large arm from around my waist and stood so that I was staring straight into her hate filled eyes. "I said, capiche?" By now the entire student body had stopped doing whatever it was they were previously doing and had instead tuned into our argument.

I felt someone stand behind me and grab my hand in theirs tightly, it was large and rough which was the opposite of mine. "This isn't over, Black." She hissed menacingly as her eyes flickered to the person behind me before turning on her heel and storming out of the cafeteria, her minions following closely after.

I turned around, eyeing my forgotten pizza. I wasn't all that hungry now that adrenaline was coursing through my veins, "Care to explain what just happened?"

I slowly turned to see Jess and Ari with their hands on their hips, bags already on their backs as they stared at me. "Uh...not really?"

***

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Jess screeched from beside me, Ari clutched her phone between her shiny clear nails and stared at me with a slight smirk on her pink lips.

She was agreeing with the foghorn beside me. Bitch.

I threw my hand up in the air, "Because I knew you'd react like this!" I shouted back in exasperation, she rolled her eyes as if I was the one being overly dramatic and glanced over my shoulder to share a look with Ari.

I knew that look.

That look meant that things were about to get really bad for me.

Ari turned to me and the smirk was still very evident on her beautiful face, "I ship it." Her lips curled up further, her bright teeth glinting in the sun as she continued to smirk slyly at me. I groaned loudly and flopped back onto the soft green grass of the football field.

"Not you too." I placed my hands over my eyes and heaved out an exaggerated sigh, both of them let out a laugh at that. "You're both horrible human beings." They each pulled a hand away from my face, refusing to let go of my wrists as I lazily attempted pull them away.

"You love us though, don't lie." Jess smiled cheekily at me, I shook my head stubbornly and pursed my lips slightly. It was silent for a few moments before she spoke again, "But, seriously. You guys are going to end up together for real. I just know it."

"Ugh!" I scrambled off the ground in seconds and ignored them as they let out a round of giggles at my expense.

They were lucky I did actually love them, otherwise I would've dropped their asses ages ago.
