"We should go to the cafe down the road." Micheal suggested as we walked out to the carpark after school had thankfully finished for the day, we all agreed after a few minutes of arguing between ourselves. Well, it was mainly Mason and I doing the arguing but you get the point.

I climbed into my car and Jess got in the passenger seat while Ari clambered into the backseat with all of our bags. "Oh, guess what I heard today in English." I spoke to the both of them as I drove us to the little cafe just down the road from the school.

'Marcie's Cafe' is a popular little cafe that is well known because of the great food, drinks and staff they have there. It's also not far from the school so most of the students go there to get their food or coffee during the long school day.

Ari leaned forward and placed her elbows on the center console, looking at me expectantly. "What?" Jess turned to face me as well with a curious gaze.

I spotted a free space near the entrance and quickly parked the car, Micheal and Mason weren't here yet. "I heard that Stephanie Adams has confirmed that she's pregnant." Jess gasped like she didn't already know it was gonna be true while Ari looked super confused.

I got out of the car and waited until the girls had gotten out as well then I locked it. "Wait, who's she?" Ari looked at the both us for an explanation as we all started heading over to the front door, avoiding people as we went.

Jess put her phone back in her pocket and tried to hide her lopsided grin, she was no doubt texting Ethan. "She's one of the cheerleaders, also a very devoted Satan worshipper." They both chuckled at that, easily understanding that I was referring to Anne.

As soon as we walked in the door we were directed to a booth right in the back corner, giving us a fair bit of privacy from the many customers in the spacious room. After about a minute of us scanning the large menu a girl with short, wavy black hair and pale grey eyes came over to write down our orders, "Have you lovely ladies decided what you want?" She looked to be a few years older than us and 'Isabelle' was written on her silver nametag.

"Just a coffee would be awesome, thanks." Jess looked up from her menu with a polite smile on her face and I glanced at the door wondering where on earth the guys were.

"I'll have a vanilla milkshake, please." I looked back at Ari as she winked at Isabelle over the menu. Wait, she winked?

Lastly she turned to me and I noticed her cheeks were now stained a light pink. "Just a hot chocolate will do." I said before turning to Ari as she disappeared to go get our drinks. "Am I going mad or did you just wink at Isabelle?" Ari merely shrugged with a sly grin on her face.

"Wait, are you gay?" Jess had now joined our conversation as she placed her phone face down on the table.

She opened her mouth to reply before shutting it again, instead she just nodded once in answer. She watched us closely as we processed this new information, "Well that's cool, and now you have two wingwomen to help you catch a girl. Oh look, our drinks are coming and so is Isabelle." Jess nudged Ari with her elbow as the girl in question swatted at her playfully. She looked surprised that we hadn't really reacted to her big news. I didn't feel the need to, she was still the same sassy, stubborn girl that I had come to know quite well even if she preferred girls over guys.

I couldn't really blame her, most girls are way smarter than males.

Just as Isabelle placed our drinks down before us the bell above the door rang loudly through the cafe, signaling the guys' arrival as they walked over to us confidently.

Mason slid into the seat beside me and grabbed the menu from under my arm. "What shall I eat?" He hummed while scanning through the large list of food and drinks. Micheal slid into the seat opposite me beside his sister, he swiftly grabbed the menu that was in Ari's hands.
