It was around ten o'clock at night when my phone rang obnoxiously loud through my room, and as a result of that I almost fell out of my bed because of how much it startled me. I didn't bother checking the caller ID and just answered while rubbing the sleep from my eyes in an attempt to wake up enough to act like a normal human.

"Hello?" I yawned and plopped back against my pillows.

"Guess what! Ethan asked me to be his girlfriend!" Jess shouted through the phone, not even giving me a chance to answer and I cringed away from the loud noise.

"That's awesome, but can we talk about this in the morning?" I pleaded while trying to keep myself from going back to sleep. "I still haven't met him yet, by the way."

"Okay, sleepy head. We'll talk about that when you're actually able to hold a conversation without passing out." She laughed and I hung up on her after a moment before I happily snuggled back into my wonderful warm bed.

I hesitantly walked into the large spare bedroom that Mason was currently staying in, "Mason." I lightly slapped his cheek as he snored loudly into one of the many pillows surrounding him, he didn't even stir slightly.

I really wanna know how the hell he manages to still look a damn model even while he's out cold. Stupid attractive people.

"Mason, we have school. Get up, you lazy piece of ass!" I pushed his shoulder roughly but the only reaction I got was a loud snore. "Fine, time for plan B." I muttered darkly as I grabbed one of the spare pillows and climbed onto the bed then stood on my knees determinedly. I was able to succesfully position myself with the pillow raised above my head, ready to hit him whenever I pleased.

I brought the pillow down onto his face with as much force as I could muster, a few moments after I had retracted the pillow from his face he opened his eyes slightly and looked up at me with a sleepy gaze before closing them again and rolling over to the opposite side of the bed, managing to almost knock me to the ground with his well muscled torso in the process. "Mason, I swear to god! Get up!" I shouted as loudly as possible as I repeatedly hit him with the pillow.

In an instant his large tanned hand shot out from under the thick blanket and pulled the pillow from my loose grasp, he pulled it to his body and curled around it slightly. "Go away, buttercup. I'm sleeping and you're being annoying." He mumbled into the pillow with a surprisingly attractive sleep coated voice, his eyes still shut tightly.

My goodness, this guy is even lazier than me and that's saying something because I'm really lazy.

"I'll drag you out of this bed and force you to school in your pajamas. I'm not joking." He opened his eyes again and looked down at his body with a slightly more alert gaze, which I now realised was barely covered by a pair of low hanging grey boxers.

A smirk appeared on his plump lips as he leaned up on his elbows slightly, fully awake now. He locked his bright blue eyes with my plain brown ones as I sat back on my heels slightly. "I'm sure the female population of our school would absolutely love that, buttercup." He murmured in his husky morning voice.

How does his ego still burn so bright this early in the morning?

I stared back at him with narrowed eyes before he winked teasingly and threw the blankets off his body then stood up, he stretched and I couldn't help but watch as his muscles tensed and flexed with his movements. I noticed that his boxers hung dangerously low on his narrow hips and he also had a small dimple at the base of his back. "Enjoying the view, buttercup?"

"Meh, I've seen better." I shrugged, my voice came out surprisingly steady and he glanced back at me with a smug grin on his face.

"Sure you have." He sauntered over to the wardrobe and grabbed a plain white shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. "You wanna watch me get changed too, since you seem to be enjoying the show so far?"

Heat crept up my neck and over my cheeks against my will, betraying my attempt at nonchalance. "Yeah, no thanks."

"Your loss." He shrugged with a sly smirk on his face and pulled the dark jeans on over his boxers, I abruptly stood and exited the room before things could get awkward. I grabbed my keys off the kitchen counter then made my way out to my car and reluctantly drove to school while trying to keep images of a basically naked Mason out of my mind.

It's not the first time I've seen him in nothing but a pair of pants. Hell, I've seen the guy in a bright pink mankini for gods sake, that was actually slightly disturbing if I'm being honest. Not only could I see almost everything but there were girls basically eye raping him at the same time. How they found that attractive is beyond me.

I walked as slowly as physically possible through the front doors. I heard Anne loudly complaining to her followers as they all huddled around her, excitedly awaiting new gossip from their leader.

As I passed them she spoke in her squeaky, whiny voice, "Mason and I haven't had sex in weeks." She groaned as if she was in physical pain and I scrunched my nose up at the thought of them together.

I think I need to wash my brain with bleach now, yuck.

As I opened my locker a small piece of paper floated down to the floor slowly, I picked it up and opened it to see a whole bunch off tiny animal drawings. I remember doing this, it was during a math class when the teacher had started to drone on in his normal monotoned voice about stuff that I couldn't even remember now. Ah, what a wonderful class that was.

Note the sarcasm.

I slammed my locker door shut after retrieving my required books, set on heading straight to class as the bell was gonna ring in about two minutes. "Buttercup!" I paused for a brief moment before turning around and almost smashing my face into a muscular chest, I looked up at his smirking face and took a step away from his towering frame. I swear all this guy does is smirk, every hour of the day.

"Yes?" I shifted the strap of my bag so that it wasn't cutting into my shoulder as much.

His eyes swept the hallway quickly, seeing the people that watched him in admiration and awe. Bleh. "Can I talk to you at home?" He leaned closer to me and murmured the words into my ear, his warm breath fanning across my cheek and neck.

I jerked my head away from his and watched him suspiciously, "I don't know, can you?"

"I'll take that a yes, then." He chuckled and winked at me for the second time today.

He stepped to the side and continued on his merry way to wherever the hell he was off to, "Idiot." I muttered, shaking my head from side to side slightly as I started walking again.

I didn't really expect anything else though, he is Mason Woods after all.
