Long ago there was only Heaven. But soon there was a disagreement in Heaven and angels decided to side with Lucifer. God cast them out of Heaven and Lucifer and his demons created and lived in a realm called hell.
Soon the demons died out and Lucifer was alone. God found that his angels were also dying out so he made a way to have more angels. Some humans were turned into preternatural, they had a gift in the areas of agility, strength, or intelligence. When these preternatural died they would turn into angels and go to Heaven to be with God. They would have to die with the possession of a certain crystal in order to come back as an angel. These crystals were from the floors of Heaven.
