WITHOUT HESITATION (A Naruto fanfic) ON HOLD

Chapter 1

Twelve-year old Naki woke up and got dressed into her ninja attire. Choji, her brother, has a similar outfit. Her light brown hair is put in a low ponytail. Naki wears a green jacket with long sleeves and the symbol of the Akimichi clan on both shoulders. Underneath the jacket is a plain white shirt. Her hands are bandaged from the huge amount of training.  Naki has dark grey trousers and her weapon pouch is on her right thigh. She wears ordinary sandals that are a dark shade of blue.

Naki went to Choji's room to wake him up. She walked up to him and shook him roughly. "Wake up Choji." She said. Nothing. The young kunoichi sighed deeply. "WAKE UP FATSY!" Naki shouted.

Choji immediately woke up with a very angry expression plastered onto his face. Naki crossed her arms, a glint of amusement in her eyes. Choji's expression softened as soon as he saw it was his sister. He knew there was no way he could defeat her. He only just became a genin yesterday. Naki on the other hand was already a chunin and her jonin exam was today.

He smiled softly and hugged his twin sister. "Thank you for waking me up Naki." He said. "No problem brother." She replied without embracing her sibling. The thought of his sister being so cold always made Choji frown. Even though they were twins they were completely different. Choji was a caring, easy-going, carefree shinobi whilst Naki was cold, determined and almost heartless.

The siblings went to the kitchen where they were greeted by their parents. "Good morning children!" Their mother chimed. "Good morning." The twins said in unison. Naki ate her food slowly whilst Choji ate his food as if he hadn't eaten anything in years.

After the meal, Choji went out to meet with his team. Naki also went to her new team. Team 7. The Third Hokage transferred her into this team so that she would spend more time with people her age.

She didn't like the idea of being put into a team with genin. Today after the meeting with her new teammates and sensei she was going to the speak with Hiruzen about the jonin exam.

~Time skip~

Naki joined team 7 on a rooftop which happened to be their meeting place. She was immediately greeted by a hyper-active blonde boy. Everybody introduced themselves and then it was Naki's turn. "My name is Naki Akimichi," she said. "I like training and dislike many things...my dream...no my goal is to become a very powerful and skilful kunoichi." She continued in a serious tone.

Naki wasn't pleased with Naruto's behaviour. Sakura seemed to only think about Sasuke. The young Uchiha seemed to be the only person Naki could become friends with. Last but not least was their sensei-Kakashi Hatake. He is a powerful shinobi that Naki has heard about many times before. He had her respect.

The young Akimichi exhaled deeply as she made her way to the Hokage' s office. She couldn't think of anything but one thing. About a week ago Naki discovered that  she was able to use wood style. She knew that only the First Hokage was able to use wood style techniques and she was very confused.

Naki didn't know whether or not she should tell someone. She trained her wood style in secret trying to control it but she wasn't able to, no matter how hard she tried. Naki tried to push these thoughts away as she pushed the door to Hokage's office open...
