Naki woke up early in the morning in order to do a survival training with team 7, she wasn't taking part in it as she was already a jonin so she was just checking their skills. She sighed deeply as she put on her outfit. The young kunoichi made her way out of the house quietly in order to not wake her family up.
She quickly made her way to the third training ground where the team was going to meet up.
Once she arrived, she sat down and waited for the rest of her team. Ten minutes have passed and the other members arrived, everyone apart from Kakashi-sensei. It was really early and everyone was starting to get annoyed.
After another hour has passed, Naruto exhaled deeply. "Man that Kakashi-sensei, why is he so late!?" He exclaimed whilst holding his hands behind his head.
"Naruto you idiot stop complaining already, he must have his reasons!" Sakura shouted and hit Naruto across the head.
"Ouch, Sakura-chan what was that for!?" The blonde ninja exclaimed.
Naki stood up and decided to go and sit under a tree in order to move away from them. The young kunoichi sat by the tree, resting her back against it. She closed her eyes and placed her hands behind her head.
She heard someone walking towards her so she opened one eye to check if it was Kakashi. It was Sasuke, he must of got sick of the two immature genin. The black-haired shinobi sat down next to Naki.
They sat in silence. Naki's lips curled up slightly as she got engulfed in the peaceful and calming silence.
Before they knew it, Kakashi-sensei has arrived and he was a couple hours late. Naki and the rest of Team 7 made their way towards Kakashi. He explained everything and Naki hid in the tree as she was already a jonin so she didn't have to get the bells with the other members.
Naki used a camouflage that would be impossible for a genin to see through.
*Time Skip*
The young genin have passed Kakashi's test thanks to teamwork. They didn't even get the actual bells, Naki preferred working alone.
"You can get down now!" Kakashi exclaimed as he punched the tree which was Naki's hiding place. Naki was taken by surprise and lost her balance. She fell off the tree landing flat on her behind.
Naruto started laughing even though he was tied to a post. Sasuke was slightly surprised but he didn't show it and Sakura came up to Naki to see if she was okay. Once Naki stood up, she was greeted by Kakashi's closed-eye smile.
"So what do you think of their skills?" He asked slightly tilting his head.
Naki pondered for a minute before replying. "Well...Naruto is the least skilled and is a complete imbecile." She stated calmly.
"Hey I'm not an imbecile!" Naruto shouted.
Sasuke and Sakura sighed at his behaviour.
"Sakura is slightly better than Naruto and her weak spot is most certainly genjutsu so that needs to be improved...a lot." Naki continued. "Sasuke is the most skilled out of the three." The young Akimichi stated calmly and turned towards Kakashi. "As for you sensei...you are a really skilled jonin and I'll be looking forwards to working with you." Naki said before bowing.
"Now let's go and eat ramen!" Naruto shouted excitedly, he was still tied up.
"Great idea, let's go team." Kakashi said and everyone except Naruto followed him.
"Hey I'm still tied up!" The blonde shouted whilst trying to wriggle out. Suddenly a shuriken landed spot on the rope and missing him by a milimeter. He fell from the post gulping loudly. He quickly caught up to the rest of his team still slightly startled and saw Naki smirking. He opened his mouth to say something but decided to stay quiet.
Team 7 reached their destination and ordered some ramen. Suddenly an Anbu came to the Ichiraku ramen.
"Naki Akimichi, Hokage-sama is awaiting you." Stated the Anbu. Naki nodded and said farewell to her team and the talented ramen maker.
The young kunoichi entered Lord Third's office and greeted Sarutobi with a bow. After a second Tenzo came in. He greeted the Hokage before taking his mask off. Tenzo turned towards Naki and greeted her with a smile which she returned.
"I have a mission for you two." Sarutobi said and immediately the two wood-style users listened intently. "Your mission is..."
