**Cali's POV**
Aaron laughed with me as we hopped off the bus the next day, his hand entangled with mine, rubbing gentle circles on my knuckles.
"Yo guys!" Gavin called to us, and we walked over to our usual spot outside to wait for the bell to ring.
"Whoa." Hayley said, noticing Aaron's hand in mine. "Friendly today, are we?" I looked down at my feet, trying to hide the small smile on my face. Aaron just grinned. Maia gasped, being the first one to figure it out.
"YOU GUYS ARE DATING?" She cried.
"Shh! You're so loud. But yes." I told her.
"Oooh Aaron and Cali are datingggg!" She said, dragging out the 'g'. I rolled my eyes as the three of them laughed and asked lots of questions. With each question, I blushed harder.
"Guys cut it with all the questions. All you need to know is that it happened, and we're happy." Aaron told them. I was thankful as he slipped his arm around my waist and we walked into school together.
"You think they're okay with it?" I asked him quietly.
"If they're not, they really don't have a choice, do they?" He replied with a smirk. I giggled.
"Guess not."
**Aaron's POV**
As we walked home from school that day, I decided to talk to her about what had been bugging me all day.
"Hey Cal, you know I have to go to Magcon this weekend right?" She pretended that it wasn't a big deal, but there was a hitch in her step, and her hand squeezed mine a little tighter.
"That's cool." She told me.
"Yeah but...that means I'll be gone for a few days. Maybe..." I paused. "Maybe you can come with me again?" But she just sighed.
"I would love that. But I have to stay here this weekend. I'm practically failing geometry. I have a huge test next week...and if I don't study this weekend, I don't know when I will. I gotta find a tutor or something." She but her lip nervously. Math had never been her strongest suit, and I knew she was under a lot of pressure from her parents to pass the class.
"Okay. I'm going to miss you, you know. But I want you to do well in your class. You can do it." I said, nudging her shoulder. I leaned over and kissed her on the cheek, and a small smile returned to her face.
When we got to her house, she stopped near the door.
"You don't have to go. My parents are still at work, so the living room is free. We could watch a movie?" It came out more like a question. I smiled and nodded. We went inside and she ran over to the couch, motioning for me to come sit next to her.
"What are we gonna watch?" I asked, sitting down. She rested her head on my chest as she scrolled through Netflix. I wrapped my arms around her.
"How about Saving Mr. Banks?" She asked. "Maia told me it was a pretty good movie."
"Sure!" Not gonna lie, I kinda wanted to see it myself. She pressed play and the movie started. I played with her hair and she sighed. I could've stayed like that forever.
The move was actually really good. Cali bawled at the end, and I was feeling my eyes start to water too. As the credits started to scroll, she sat up, her face still wet with tears.
"Good movie huh?" She asked. I laughed, and so did she. We looked ridiculous, two 15-year-olds crying at a Disney movie. I reached over and wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Okay, we need to get ourselves together." I told her, still laughing.
"Okay, okay. I'm going to get a snack." She said, getting up.
"Grab me a bag of chips or something." I said. She leaned down so that she was eye level with me.
"Say please." She demanded. I smirked and leaned over, kissing her on the lips and catching her completely off guard. I pulled away so that just our foreheads were touching.
"Please." I whispered. She blushed.
"Well okay, that works too."
