The ringing of the bell starts, signaling the end of the school day.
Finally. Letha drags me out of class happily and down the stairs of the school.
Jesus she walks hella fast.
"Slow down Letha!" I exclaimed. She giggles walking slower. "Yo, where are you taking me?" I ask curiously laughing at her eagerness.
"To the bus!" She exclaimed, I looked at her like she was crazy. How is she so happy when she's going on a bus home? With the mention of home, I remember I had to go over to Destiny's and talk to her.
"Actually I can't go home with you, I have to meet up with a friend of mine that I haven't met since I was like 5." I tell her.
"Is that an excuse so you can get away from me?" Letha asks while pouting. I shake my head and laughed at her mind set.
"No, I'm being serious, I have to meet up with Peter's cousin, it's this thing that involves our family." I inform Letha. She smiles and nods.
"I get it Noel, don't worry I was just joking around with you." I sighed out in relief and went to hug Letha.
"Thank you!" I tell her.
"No problem!" She says cheerfully. I pulled away to find Roman walking down the steps and over to my side. He grabs ahold of my hand and smiles at us.
"Where are you guys going?" Roman questions.
"To the bus!" Letha says pointing over to the bus. He looks at Letha as of if she was crazy.
"Godfrey's don't ride buses!" He holds out his arm for Letha and walks us over to where Peter was, he was juggling oranges around for Shelley. Peter drops all of the oranges and I start bawling out laughing as he tried to do his stupid trick.
"Terrible, you got any other tricks?" Roman asks while rolling his eyes.
"Alright, it's no big deal Roman, it was funny, right Shelley?" I ask smiling at her. She simply nods at my comment and smiles.
"Have you met my cousin Letha?" Roman asks, Peter shakes his head and sticks his hand out while Letha had a shocked expression on her face.
"No, Peter." He says introducing himself.
"Hey." Letha mumbles, not bothering to shake his hand. Peter looks at her awkwardly and puts his hand down.
"Well, um, you guys can deal with this awkwardness, I have to go meet up with a family friend." I inform the group. Roman pouted and stepped over to me.
"So you're not gonna be hanging out with me for the day?" Roman asks pouting, I laughed and shook my head as he gave me a light kiss on the forehead.
"Be safe babe," He tells me.
"Don't worry!" I insure Roman. I hugged Roman and waved the group a goodbye and walked over to Nolan who has a group of girls surrounded by our car.
"Nolan! Hurry up and get in the car, I don't have time to deal with your girlfriends!" The girls giggled at Nolan and my comment as one of them kisses his cheek. I rolled my eyes at their slutty behavior and unlocked the car and head into the driver's seat. I quickly turned on the engine and honked the horn, signaling for Nolan to get in. He sighs and kisses one of the girls and headed into the passenger seat.
"Where are we going?" Nolan asks uninterested.
"Destiny's." I state. Nolan gasps and his eyes brighten up. I laugh at his reaction and started driving over to Destiny little psychic shop.
