"So, what are you gonna do today?" My dad asks while we're eating breakfast. My dad made blueberry pancakes. I swear he's the best...
"Hmm... I went to a record store with my friends yesterday after school. I'm going to go there again and see if they're hiring," I reply. "Okay. Have fun," Dad says. I nod, and put my plate in the dishwasher. I go up to my room and brush my hair as I look for something to wear. I decide on a Misfits shirt and some black jeans.
I brush my teeth and wash my face. I put on some makeup and eyeliner, then change into my clothes. I pick up Frank's leather jacket. I KEEP FORGETTING IT!! Ugh. He won't mind if I wear it today, right?
While I'm wondering if I should wear Frank's leather jacket or not, my phone starts to ring. I pick it up and say, "Hello?"
"Good morning, (Y/N)!" It's Frank's voice! "Good morning," I say, smiling through the phone. "Hey, what are you doing today?" I look out the window at the fog. It's the end of October, and almost November. It's Autumn, but it kind of looks like Winter. I guess that's Belleville.
"I'm gonna look for a job," I say. "You don't need money with a face like that, honey," Frank says. I laugh. "That's not how the world actually is. That's not me, either. But thank you. Hey, about your leather jacket, I'M REALLY SORRY THAT I HAVEN'T RETURNED IT, FRANKIE!!" I say, screaming the last part.
"...Ow...(Y/N)...That kind of hurt my ears..." Frank says. "Oh. I'm sorry," I say. "It's okay. You can keep my leather jacket," Frank says. "Really? No! It's yours! I'm returning it. I'm gonna go to your house right now," I say.
"Wait, (Y/N). That's not really necessary-" I hang up before he can finish his sentence. I put on my own leather jacket and my black converse. See? I don't even need Frank's leather jacket. I have my own.
I run out the door wth Frank's jacket, yelling to my dad, "I'll be back in a couple of minutes!" I walk down the block, wondering which house is Frank's. I'll just call Gerard and ask him.
"Hello?" Gerard says, picking up on the second ring. "Hey. What does Frank's house look like?" I ask. "Umm...it's navy blue... It has a garden with a lot of red roses," Gerard says. "Thank you! Bye!" I hang up and walk to Frank's house, which is five houses down from mine.
It's 9:30 now. Not too early, right? I hope not. I knock on the door. After a couple of seconds, a woman opens it. "Hello," she says. She must be Frank's mom. "Good morning. Is Frank home?" I say. Her face lights up. "Are you Frank's girlfriend?!" She asks excitedly. I feel my cheeks heat up.
"Um, yes..." I say. She smiles at me happily. "You're (Y/N)! He's told me so much about you! You're prettier than I ever imagined!" I feel myself blush harder. "Oh! I'll get Frank right now," Frank's mom says, and leaves the door.
She comes back immediately. Seriously. I'm talking, like, ten seconds later. Frank is right there with her. He sees me and he blushes. "I'm sorry," he mouths. I smile at him. His mom is soooo sweet. "Your girlfriend is really pretty and nice. You better keep her," Frank's mom says to Frank. Frank blushes.
"Thank you," I say, smiling. "You're really sweet." She puts her hand on her mouth and blushes. So cute! (She's like a Lolita but a mom lol) "Thank you! I'll leave you two alone," she says, and then walks away. I smile at Frank and say, "Your mom is so cute!" Frank nods and says, "Yeah. She's amazing."
I hand Frank his jacket. "Here you goooo," I say. Frank smiles and takes it. "Thank you," he says. He pulls me into a hug. "You're so hyper and stuff this morning. I thought you weren't a morning person," he says.
"I got a lot of sleep last night," I say. "And I've been awake since 7:00." Frank kisses my hair. "Good," he says, then kisses me passionately. I put my arms around his neck, and he puts his around my waist. He nibbles at my bottom lip and I giggle. Then I pull away and whisper, "Your mom might be spying on us. We should probably stop." Frank smiles and kisses my cheek.
