You were walking past Keith's room, his room was a bit farther from the rest, I mean all the Paladins rooms were spaced out alot, but his more so.
It was later and you needed someone to hug you. Anyone, Hunk, Pidge, Lance you'd even settle for Coran. See, you just woke up from a nightmare and you were shaking, but everyone was asleep!

When you walked past Keith's room, you were hopeless.
"I doubt he is awake either," you muttered to yourself. Disregaurding the comment you slowly and cautiously opened the door, preparing to ninja flee out of their just to keep him undisturbed if he was sleeping. You opened the door and were tooken back but the light that was in the room. A small dim lamp in the corner emitted an soft white glow across the room. Still, your adjusted and you saw Keith on the bed laying on his stomach on his reading. You smirked at the odd sight of soft Keith, it instantly relieved you of some fear, but you were still shaking. The dream really shook you up.

"Er, um Keith," you said quietly. He spun around with a knife in hand. You completely dismissed the weapon, this was sorta normal.
His eyes softened when he saw you and he set the blade on the desk.
"Sorry," he blushed, "um what's got you up so late?" He asked, his voice was quiet and soft but still protective-still Keith.
"I, um, I had a really bad dream, and I woke up and I was shaking and nobody was I awake," for some reason your started to get hot with tears in your eyes," and I hate to bother you, but I'm really shaking and I can't calm down I am so sorry. Oh my god you probably hate me an-"

"Hey its ok, I usually get super lonely at night anyways," he opened his arms for a hug. You gladly went into his arms. Immitally, his hugs were the best, second were Lances, but his were soft, and gentle, but firm.
His hugs said,"It's ok, I'm here, I'm happy, you're happy, I'll still protect you"
He wrapped his arms around you waist and once he had you in his arm he realized how bad you were shaking. His brow furrowed.
"How, bout we sit on the bed ok?" He said.
"Will you still hold me?" You asked shyly. His heartbroke seeing your innocent, pretty eyes so filled with fear, but part him liked that you wanted him.
"Yea,yea of course," he stuttered out. You nodded and the two of you sat on the bed. You rested your head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around you. The shaking was almost completely gone, but your breath was still short and quick.

"Keith I'm so sorry about barging in, I will make it up to you I promise," you said ashamed. He smirked, because the truth is he liked it better when you were around.
"(Y/n) don't even worry about it, ok?" He said sternly soft. You nodded a blush creeping up your face.
"Do you wanna talk about the dream?" He asked, you shook you head, and dug your face into his chest. He held you tight and looked around the room for something that might calm you down, when his eyes landed on a radio Pidge discarded of because she didn't want to mess up 'vintage tech', Shiro really rolled his eyes at that one.

"What about we listen to music?" He asked. (Y/n) piped up. He stood up and walked over to the radio.
"Keith Kogane wants to listen to music?" (Y/n) pretended to be in shock.
"Do you wanna listen to music or not?" He teased back. You giggled and he let out a small laugh. You nodded.
He joined you back on the bed, the tiny radio in hand. He sat up, and you rested you head on his lap, watching him furrow his brow and stick out his tongue in concentration as he tinkered with the radio. Soon, the radio was capable of playing a song, emphasis on 'a'-only one.

Now, Keith was leaning against his headboard, legs outstretched. You sat criss crossed inbetween his legs, facing him. He began to play the song. You closed your eyes and lightly swayed to the rythm.

Look at the stars
Look at how they shine for
And everything you do
Yeah they were all yellow

Keith loved this song. It was quiet and powerful and reminded him of Earth. The woods. Just gazing at the stars above. The stars were much closer now.
