Voltron X Reader ONESHOT

Bored

So...consider this a One-Shot meaning this doesn't exactly go with the rest of this story.

Lance was sitting on the floor in front of the couch playing videos games. He had been like that for hours, and I was starting to get bored. 

"Oh Lance," I sung out as I walked in to the lounge room. 

"Hmph," he said, his eyes still glued to the screen in front of him. I had trained for hours already, Keith and Shiro were plotting our next move with Allura and Hunk and Pidge were busy building something. I sighed, I just wanted to hang out with someone. 

I sat on the couch above him and played with hair, my fingers fumbled with the hair on the nape of his neck. 

"I'm bored," I pouted and ran my hands through his hair. 

"Yep," he said not really listening to me. Lance usually listened to what I had to say, something I liked about him, he always payed attention to what I had to say; but when he was in front of video games he canceled everything out. 

"Maybe I'll hang out with Shiro," I teased, hoping that would get him out his spot. 

"Ok," he said. I rolled my eyes and stood up and started walked away. 

"But I think Keith might wanna hang out with me more, he's been really, really nice to me lately," I said calmly. 

"Ok-wait! What?" he put down his controller and looked up at me with wide eyes. 

"Well since your busy, I just thoug-"

"Me? Busy? No, I'll hangout with you," he jumped up and turned off the screen. I smiled, I wasn't usually this needy, but I've been really in need of something lately and Lance has been especially flirty-he was starting to grow on me.

He stood up and walked up to my side, he offered an elbow. I gladly excepted it and soon we were walking through the castle with linked arms. 

"So were are we going?" I asked. He had been leading the way. He looked down at me and smiled mischievously.

"You'll see," he smiled. 

"Ok," I was excited. For once in this castle, I was excited for something, not afraid or nervous or bored-I was excited. 

He led us down to the hangar. I swallowed hard.

"Lance, uh, why are with the lions?" for someone who was just playing video games, he sure did have a very specific idea of hanging out with me. 

"Joy ride," he said, and with that Blue's mouth opened. I shrugged and let him lead me into his lion. 

"Lance where am I supposed to sit?" I asked, seeing that there was only one seat. He looked around like he just remembered there was only one seat. 

"I guess you'll have to sit on my lap," he smirked. I sighed and pinched my nose, shaking my head, "Fine." 

Lance sat down and got himself situated. I hesitated but sat down in his lap , my legs hung over the arm of the seat and my arms snaked around Lance's torso as I held on for dear life, we hadn't even lifted off the ground. 

"Are you ready?" he asked, obviously enjoying this. I nodded, "Yep, let's get this over with," I pressed my face into Lance chest and squeezed his torso. He relaxed into me and pressed the lions stick shift forward, "Whatever you say senorita," he said and with that we lifted into the sky. We flew around the castle, we went quickly but Lance stayed moderate enough for me to peek at the scenery. I lifted my head up and looked at the views around. The castle was truly a work of art. 

"woah," I breathed.

"Yep," he said, we looked at each other and laughed. Then Lance did the unexpected. 

"Do you trust me?" he asked. 

"Of course I do," I said. He nodded.

"Ok, so...just don't yell at me to much," he said. Before I could ask questions he aimed the lion upward, so we facing completely upward. Lance pushed the thrusters forward as hard as could. We shot straight into the sky-fast. 

I gripped onto his torso and dug my face into his chest. After a few of the longest seconds of my life we stopped. When I found the courage to open my eyes, I looked out. We were in the clouds, it was the most amazing sight I've ever scene. 

"It's so beautiful," I breath in awe.

"Just like you (Y/N)," Lance said. I turned to him, his cheeks were pink. I smiled and he smiled back. 

"You might wanna hold on," he said breaking the silence. I did as I was told and once again he beamed as I held on to him. He turned the lion so that we were facing straight down. 

"No way," I said hurried.

"Yes way," he laughed and pushed the thrusters forward again. We plummeted to the ground.

"LANCE!!!!" I screamed as we seemingly fell to the ground.

"WOOHOO!!!" he hollered.

Right before we were about to hit the ground good o'l Blue curved up and we slowly came to a safe stop.  As soon as we stopped I climbed off of Lance and he stood. 

"Are you crazy! We could've died, what if we hit the ground? What if you suddenly couldn't connect with Blue? Oh my God, so many things could've gone wrong. Is going that fast even good for Blue? You are so lucky that I trust you," I ranted. Lance smiled slyly. 

"How did it make you feel?" he asked suddenly.

"It made me feel..." I was going to yell at him but then I thought about it, even though it was dangerous and scary, it was fun and exciting and new, "excited."  I said kinda shocked of my own response, it almost came out as a question. 

Lance smiled small and walked up to me so that he was only inches away from me. I looked up at him and his stupid adorable smile, and his stupid cute eyes, and annoyingly present lips. I leaned in close to him and kissed in him. 

It took  him a second to register what was happening but soon he kissed back. He put his hand on my waist and pulled me closer to him. I snaked my arm around his neck, so that my elbows rested on his shoulders.

I kissed more passionately. He licked my lips quickly asking for entrance and I let him. He was soft and polite. Our tongues teased each other, barely touching. We pulled back to breath. 

Our foreheads pressed against each other, we panted. 

"I hate you," I panted. 

"So worth it," he panted back. I kissed him on his lips lightly. 

"I could get used to this though," I added quickly, he smirked.
