do you think they'll stay when you feel like your world is crumbling?
but why would they when they're the ones who made your world fall apart?
do you think they'll be there when it's 2am and your pillow is soaked with tears?
but why would they when they're the ones who made you cry?
do you think they'll care when you say you're depressed?
but why would they when all they do is belittle you and make you feel worthless?
do you think they'll stand by your side when you've given up?
but why would they? they've left you to die.
to drown.
to wither away.
but everyone ends up alone, anyway.
