I looked to the left of me to see a gigantic tarantula. I hate those things they're fuzzy with a bunch of eyes and legs! The little creature started to slowly come towards me. I tried to silently back up but my leg hit a hallow piece of mellow making a loud thump! The lady gave a quick glance behind her, but she still didn't see me.
I started to sweat bullets. I bit my lip in fear as this fuzzy creature was getting closer. It looked like the size of a husky. Then one of its fuzzy little legs touched my arm, it crept onto my arm.
"AH!" I screamed regretting this whole entire thing. I bit my tongue as she hit the breaks and looked back at me. Without a word she left the car and opened the back one. "Come here!" She said with a blank stare. I came out from under the seats, at least I wouldn't feel to squished now... "What are you doing in this vehicle!" She said in a firm voice. "I... I found it." I said nervously.
"Hmph- Well why did you stay in here for so long!" She said raising her gun. "I just - I was running and found it, I didn't want something like this to happen If I gave myself away." I said shifting my feet. "Stop moving. Give me a real reason, were you trying to kill us!" She said with a finger on the trigger, she unlocked safety mode on the gun.
"I can't, that's what I did, I can't give you a reason!" I yelled lightly with frustration. "Well then I guess today is your last day here." She said aggressively. "What you mean by that..." I said stepping back. Then she adjusted her gun, Squinting her eyes. Pointing the gun at me. Finger on the trigger. Doing the only smart thing I skat, I ran, I sprint into the forest!
I kept running for a good three miles. Then I stopped panting with thirst. I grabbed some nearby sticks and rubbed them together. It took many, lots, several attempts to get the smallest thing started. I piled more wood on top once I got a fire started. Now... for food? Cloud usually did those things, I can't really hunt... I never went hunting in my life. Guess I should have done hunting.
I looked around. Nothing. I stood up. I spotted a rabbit behind a tree. I reached for my bow, but it wasn't there. Cloud and I left it all in the first car... I had no weapons, to defend myself... Or to hunt. I had a idea though... I grabbed a nearby stick and rock. With the rock I chipped off the end of one side to make it like a spear. Not the sharpest thing in the world... But it will work.
I tried not to step on the leaves, every so often I would snap a leaf, I cringed whenever I did. Once I got close enough, I stood behind the rabbit. I gave a big sigh. Sorry fella, I got my spear ready. I had to kill this thing. But... It's rare I'm going to see a rabbit again. At the same time, will they go extinct for this? I was hesitant to kill it. At the same time I knew a walker of someone else would come across it eventually...
I needed this rabbit. I stabbed it with my spear as it tried to get away I smashed its head with my foot. I grabbed my spear as one little drop of blood dripped off it. I picked up the dead rabbit and brought it over to my fire. Now how do I even cook this thing? I grabbed a few branches and lied it flat on top of the fire and rested the rabbit on it. Hopefully that works...
The only thing I could hear now was the fire, the wind of the trees moving, one chirp of a bird, and a few crickets. I relaxed under a tree. Resting my eyes. For a while. I opened my eyes again as I saw a coyote slowly creeping up towards the cooking rabbit. "Hey!" I said moving my hands as it stepped back. I sighed. Maybe it's hungry also? Maybe it just wants food. At the same time this thing is scaring me.
I grabbed the rabbit that almost made me want to drop it from the heat. It looked pretty much cooked. I took a big chunk of it off. I whistled at the coyote as it stepped a little towards me with its ears back in a respectful response. I was hesitant to give it food. But I knew this little guy also needed the food.
I threw the chunk of rabbit a few feet away from me. The coyote gave a nice wag of its tail and started to gulp it down. Coyotes are so scary, they are basically wolves. I realized if I killed this coyote I would have so much food. I didn't want to kill it though... I just couldn't. I grabbed a piece of the rabbit and ate it. Wasn't the best... But I dealt with it. I threw the coyote a other piece of rabbit. From there I finished the rabbit. I gave the remains to the coyote. So it can lick the bones clean. I realized the coyote had left when I came back from finding little of water.
Then I went to sleep. As I fell asleep, I could feel someone touching my foot.... It wasn't the coyote...
