Part 2:- (she got someone)
Swara was working at the café as usual. Alongside her role as a cashier, she often served as a waitress when the staff was short. Today, while she was serving coffee and food to a family, she felt a small tug on her uniform skirt. She looked down to see a cute baby boy, around 2 or 3 years old, gazing up at her with wide, curious brown eyes.
Swara set the tray down on the table and knelt in front of him. The little boy responded with a big, toothy smile.
Swara, smiling: "Hello, baby."
Boy, pointing to himself: "Me (I'm) baby?"
Swara, caressing his cheek: "Yes, you are a baby."
Boy: "But I'm Piyush, naa?" He then looked towards his mom with a puzzled expression. At this, Swara and his parents chuckled softly.
Swara: "Oops, sorry, Piyush." Upon hearing this, Piyush beamed at her with a wide baby grin.
Piyush, kissing her on the cheek: "You are very beautiful. I love you."
Swara's eyes widened in surprise, and she glanced at his parents, who looked equally taken aback by the adult-like declaration from their child.
His mother, a bit flustered: "Piyush, where did you hear that?"
Piyush, grinning widely: "Papa said this to you yesterday night."
Swara burst into laughter at the innocent mix-up, while his parents turned red with embarrassment.
Swara, clearing her throat: "Piyush, you're also so cute and handsome." She returned his kiss on the cheek, making him happy as he ran to his mother to tell her that Swara had called him cute.
Swara returned to the counter and watched Piyush and his family with a soft smile. The sight of their happiness made her heart ache with a pang of loneliness. It wasn't jealousy but a deep-seated loneliness she had endured for years. She looked at them with a pain-filled smile, silently praying that their happiness would last forever.
With the area's shops and restaurants closing early due to VIP movement and security reasons, Swara decided to visit the park. She had finished her college work and wasn't in the mood to return home to her solitude just yet.
As evening fell, Swara wandered around the park, observing children playing happily with their parents. She eventually sat on a bench, gazing at her surroundings. Her eyes fell upon a woman sitting on the other side of the park. The woman was simply staring around, but tears glistened in her eyes. Swara felt a connection and decided to approach her.
(Swara recognized the woman sitting alone in the park. She had seen her before while walking home from the café. The lady whose name was Sunaina usually sat near a tree by the roadside, her eyes closed. Swara had often left some food near her, which she bought from the café. She knew the woman lived in a small tent and had been doing what she could to help, even though the lady never seemed to notice because her eyes were always closed.
Today, seeing the woman in the park, Swara felt a strong urge to approach her. She hadn't been able to bring any food for her in the past two days due to her busy schedule, and she wanted to make sure she was okay.)
Swara sat down beside Sunaina, who was sitting on the ground, looking disheveled and in poor condition. Her hair was tangled, and her clothes were filthy.
Swara, in a calm voice: "Aunty?"
Sunaina looked at her with a blank expression but didn't say anything. Swara waited for a while, hoping for a response. When Sunaina remained silent, Swara began to stand up, feeling disappointed. However, Sunaina reached out and held her hand.
