Episode # 27:- (Happiness Has Its Price)
LAST EPISODE
The sun indeed has the power to illuminate the world even through a tiny crack. But it also waits for the darkness of the night or the clouds to clear. Everything happens in its own time.
Happiness comes into everyone's life, but its duration can vary—sometimes lasting a long time, and sometimes only for a brief moment. It all depends on one's fate—whether it brings happiness after sadness or sadness after happiness.
As he sat in the hospital room, holding his soulmate's hand, Sanskar reflected on his life. At over 30 years old, he had lived through more than many people experience in a lifetime. For some, life truly begins after 30, but Sanskar's journey has been different.
Born with a silver spoon, Sanskar's fate dealt him a harsh hand, forcing him to mature quickly. He didn't get to enjoy a typical childhood, as he took on the responsibility of caring for his younger brother. Despite this, he embraced the role with a sense of duty and love.
His suffering began at the age of 8, and since then, he has endured many trials—whether it was the responsibility of his brother, his friends, or Swara. Sanskar faced all the challenges without a frown, but now, the one who had the power to wrap him around her finger lay unconscious before him.
The one who was the peace of his heart was in a deep slumber. The one whose smile brightened his days had no expression on her face. The one whose loving gaze could make him forget all his worries was not looking at him.
Sanskar held Swara's hand tightly and kissed her knuckles. They had managed to overcome the final obstacle of their lives—the root of Swara's troubled past. Yet, as the saying goes, everything has its price, and they are paying that price now.
Swara fought bravely, saved Sanskar, and rescued everyone, but she couldn't save herself. She couldn't fulfill her promise to Sanskar that she would never let anyone hurt her.
Sanskar, with a bandage on his head and small wounds from the fight, spoke to Swara with a heavy heart. "Swara, you know I can't live without you, even for a second. I know I've been harsh with you sometimes, but it was only for your good."
He paused, his voice trembling. "Today, I'm sorry for everything—the restrictions, the scolding. Please, come back to me." His plea was interrupted when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking up, he saw Shekhar standing there, tears in his eyes. Despite his grief, Shekhar composed himself upon seeing Sanskar's condition. He saw the same broken Sanskar he had seen 21 years ago, begging for help to save his brother.
In a choked voice, Sanskar pleaded, "Uncle, please wake her up. Tell her I won't scold her anymore. Please, Uncle." He broke down, his cries echoing through the room. He was shattered, and this time, his secret keeper was not there to support him. Today, he was broken beyond repair.
Flashback:-
Sanjeev was finally finished. Sanskar came out with Swara in his arms, lost in his thoughts, when suddenly Swara, whom he thought was sleeping, started breathing heavily. Sanskar, without wasting a second, laid her down and checked her pulse, which was decreasing.
Sanskar, shouting: "Start the car! We have to take her to the hospital!"
Shekhar, without wasting a second, started the car, and Sanskar sat with Swara, followed by the others. They reached the hospital in no time, thanks to the police cars giving them a protocol throughout the way.
Swara was taken to the O.T. in no time. Doctors didn't allow Sanskar to accompany them, as he was also slightly injured, along with the other boys. They went for their first aid. After 3 hours, the doctors came out from the O.T.
