You finally settle on a card and pull it out to reveal a number... "3." You mutter and look up to see who you got. Joseph holds up a identical card with the number three on it, you make eye contact and both start blushing immediately "Alright!" Amanda chimes dragging you both out of your seats and pushing you back into a nearby closet, "See you in 7 minutes!" She slams the door and you hear the lock click. "Well..." Joseph sighs as he turns to face you, "Now what?" You ask looking up at the tall blonde male. "Hmm." He mutters and scratches his chin, "Well I guess we just sit here for seven minutes." He says leaning back against the wall and closing his eyes, "Guess so." You mutter and lean back too.
After a few moments of silence you let your head fall down to rest on his shoulder, he turns his head to look at you with a face as red as a tomato. "(Y/N)?" He whispers, you have your eyes closed, pretending to be asleep. Joseph sits forward a little but not much so he doesn't disturb you and wraps his arm around you, pulling you close. You let your head fall so it's resting on his chest which makes him blush even more, he pulls you into his lap and rests his chin on top of your head. He holds you tightly in his arms and you snuggle up against him, you feel warm and safe in that moment just wrapped up in Joseph's arms. Admittedly it is sort of weird seeing as he is a married man and just to add to it your neighbour, but that doesn't matter now, it's just the two of you, cuddling. You could feel yourself start to drift off to sleep when you heard the lock of the door click once again, you bolted up and got off Joseph's lap as quick as you could, Val swung the door open to see both you and Joseph with red flushed cheeks awkwardly sitting at opposite sides of the closet. "Boring." She mumbles and walks away. You get up and walk back into the main room to join everyone else and Joseph follows behind you...
