37 ~ Loneliness

Alone,

Swimming in the hazardous tide,
Encompassed by heavy waves of another's soul absence
Silence, dread, and self-conversation filling up the mind
Devastating the spirit
Of my lacklustre eyes
Underlining my immense insignificance,

How can I tell you

Of the salty liquid dancing in my eyes
Bringing me to my knees
Each ecstatic night
Sometimes the loneliness weights me down
With the vengeful dash of the worst enemy
Pulls me to the bottom of the dim, deadly ocean
The soul filled with melancholy, steered by darkness,
It's impossible to bear the haunting, wispy lies

How can I explain

That sometimes I embrace my loneliness as the dearest friend
The only one I have
The one I protect and keep dearly to myself

I would love to tell you,

How the world turns faster
When you are around
How the moon graces the hollow town
With no measure of time,

But you don't seem to care.
