Limitations

Limitations hold their hands,

Encroaching darkness, trapping stands,

they reach a hand out, to once again embrace,

But these limitations, have a condemning face,

The same one sneers, like an insult to you,

They hang their heads, with shame, in lieu.

For now their hand, is far more hesitant now,

Because the beast will laugh,  and you will plough.

Where you are now, is a result of this sin,

You are trapped by the walls, of your body and kin,

A lethal poison, you inhale like gas,

But limitations stand there, uncaring, alas.

You die and fade, much like dwindling wind,

You remember the light, of which you have sinned.

Your veins carry blood, but this carries disease,

For this is the monster, you endeavour to please.
