Chapter four

Daniel's POV
I woke up and walked into my guest bedroom were I saw Joey sleeping peacefully.
I walked downstairs and made myself some tea then walked into my office.
I went threw my folders then I saw a shadow in the hallway.
I said "Joseph, are you awake?"
He said "Oh, yeah I didn't know where you were."
I said "So what time do you need to be at work?"
He said "I work night shifts."
I said "Oh, ok."
He said "But I need to run some errands could you drive me to my place?"
I replied "Of course."
He got dressed and I did the same then I drove him home.
As I kissed him goodbye he got out of the car and started walking up the stairs.
I saw some guy stop and talk to him.
Then I saw Joey try and walk away but the man grabbed his hand.
I walked out and said "Do you want me to wait for you Joey?"
He said "C-can you come with me?"
I nodded my head and walked upstairs the man walked away and I walked him to his house.
He was shaking as he tried to get his keys out. He unlocked his house and ran in.
I followed behind him and locked the door I said "Who was that?"
He said "He's just some guy I work with, but he's never done that before."
I said "Joey, tell me the truth."
He said "I am."
I said "Tell me what he said to you."
He stuttered as he said "H-he just w-wanted me to te-tell him where I was."
I said "Ok, just don't think about it but tell me if it happens again."
He said "I will."
I said "I have to go now, but I'll see you at the bar tonight."
He nodded his head "Yeah see you later."
As I walked out I saw the tow truck dropped off Joey's car in the parking lot.
I got into my car and drove home.
I did some work then went to my bed and took a nap.
When I woke up it was 8:00!
I ran downstairs and put on my shoes and run out he door to my car. I hop in and drive to the diner. I walk inside and I see Joey helping a man.
I sit down at the bar.
Joey turns around to see me and his face lights up.
He said "Hey Dani."
I said "Hey Joey."
He looks around then kissed me on he cheek.
I said "Oh, and hat was for?"
He said "Being here."
I smile and he hands me a glass of whiskey.
I take a sip then I see that man from earlier.
He grabs Joeys butt then wraps his arms around Joey's waist. 
I stand up and say "What are you doing?"
The man says "Oh nothing, I'm just playing around with my boyfriend."
I said "Excuse me?"
Joey whimpers "Daniel please."
Joey walks out and takes me to the restroom.
He says "Daniel that's the owners son, he has liked me since I first started working here."
I say "And that gives him some right to harass you?"
"Please Daniel, just drop it." He begs.
"Fine." I say in a firm tone.
We walk back out to see the guy waiting for Joey.
I sit down and look at his name tag, Preston.
I take a sip of my whiskey and look around and see little kids walking in with their moms, I know it's early in our relationship but I see me and Joey having kids just like them.
I said to Joey "I have to see a client early in the morning text me if anything happens."
He nods his head and I walk out.
