Chapter six

Daniel's POV
I sat down on the couch and saw Joey's father with a beer in his hand.
I got up and walked into the kitchen and saw Joey's mom chopping up carrots.
I said "Can I talk to you privately."
She said "No one else is here hun, what can I help you with?"
I said "I-I'm dating your son."
I saw her fall to the ground and I said "Oh my god are you ok?"
She stood up and hugged me.
She said "Oh my god Daniel I'm the best I've ever been, finally there is someone to prove my old shit of a husband wrong, you are an amazing person."
I said "Thank you."
She said "But is you break his heart I'll break your fucking neck."
I smiled and said "I won't do that, I promise."
She said "Are you going to tell his father?"
I said "I want to wait till tomorrow."
She said "That's fine dear, oh my goodness, I'm going to make a little cake for you to, it'll be like a little yay Joey found someone that's not a complete ass hole cake, if it'll fit."
I laughed and said "Ok, you do you."
Nicole walked in and said "Ok you do Joey."
I said "What?"
She said "Nothing." She smirked at her mom as she grabbed a carrot.
I walked upstairs and laid down next to Joey.
He rolled over and said "Hey, is everything ok?"
I said "Everything is just fine."
He put his arm around my neck and kissed me.
I got on top of him and we started to make out. I put my hands on his waist and I could feel him smile as we kissed.
Then he started to giggle.
I said "What?"
He said "Should I tell them?"
I question "What, right now?"
He answered "No, tomorrow, at the table in front of the whole family."
I nodded and said "Yes, that would be a great idea."
I started to kiss him again and then he stopped and put his hand threw my hair.
I said "What is it."
He said "there is something your not telling me."
I said "What do you m-mean?"
Joey said "Daniel I know when your not telling me something."
I said "Joey I-I told your mom."
He sat up and look into my eyes and said "What?"
I said "I just needed to."
He got out of bed and ran downstairs I followed behind him.
He saw his mom sleeping on the couch and his dad sleeping with a beer bottle in his hand. Joey took the beer bottle and turned off the T.V.
He dumped out the beer in the sink and threw away the bottle.
I said "Why did you come down here?"
He said "I needed to check on them."
I said "Ok"
We walked back upstairs and laid down on the bed.  We sat up on the bed and he got into my arms. I held him close as he burrowed his head into my chest. He looked up at me with a fake smile plastered on his face. I leaned down a little and gave him a peck on his lips. That's when I saw his real smile and then he turned around and closed his eyes.
I rolled over and went into the bathroom.
I looked at Joey's little bag and I saw medicine. I picked one up and they were antidepressants. I kept looking threw and then I heard Joey groan. I put the medicine back inside and zipped it up.
I walked back into the bedroom and laid down next to him not wanting to wake him. He lightly snores as I put my arms around his waist.
I just realized that this was our first time sleeping together. I smiled as I dozed off.
