Chapter Three

Joey's POV
I woke up in this big bed. I rolled over and yawned. I opened the door and saw that I was in Daniel's house, I don't remember anything that happened last night, I sure hope we didn't do anything, anything sexual.
I walked downstairs and saw Daniel reading a newspaper.
I said "Hi."
He said "Morning."
I said "Um, where are your glasses?"
He said "Oh in the cabinet right in front of you."
I grabbed a glass and turned on the sink and got some water. As I took a sip I felt arms wrap around my waist
Then Daniel said "Are you ok?"
I said "Maybe."
He started kissing my neck and I felt my face scrunch up.
He said "What's-wrong" in between kisses.
I said "Well, did we do anything last night?"
He said "No we watched T.V. Then I let you fall asleep in the guest bedroom."
I said "Oh."
He said "Joey, your younger than me, like five years younger."
I said "So!"
I turned around and set down the glass.
He said "Oh, so you wanna?"
I smiled "Maybe."
We started to make out then he lifted me to the edge of the counter.
I giggled while we were kissing.
He stopped kissing me and said "No, I have to get to work."
I said "Fine."
I hopped off the counter and I said "Can I go?"
He said "No."
I smiled and grabbed his hand as I said "I'll behave."
He said "Fine, let me find something for you to wear."
I followed him to his room and he said "Let me get dressed then I'll get you something."
I said "Ok."
I sat at the edge of his bed and looked around then he took me into his closet.
He said "Since your with me, you have to dress to impress."
I said "Whatever you think is best."
He handed me a suit and I got dressed.
I walked out of his closet with the top unbuttoned.
I said "Just a little late?"
He walked over to me and said "Joey, I have to go to court."
I said "Fine."
He buttoned up my shirt and said "Good now put these shoes on."
I put the shoes on that he handed me.
I said "How do I look?"
He said "I can't ever make you look serious cuz your just to cute."
I felt a big nerdy smile creepy up on my face.
He said "Let me grab my suitcase and then we'll go."
He grabbed his suitcase and we got into the car and drove to the courthouse.
We ran in and I sat behind him.
I watched as he set everything up and when he was done he said "Joey, please don't say anything this time."
I said "I know, I know, I'm sorry I won't speak."
He kissed me on my forehead and smiled then turned around.
The case was boring I didn't understand what was happening other than that they were blaming Daniel's client for killing his dad. But I think it was his step mom.
Then it was finally to the end and the jury walked in they handed the judge a paper.
He opened it and said "Justin Gardener is not guilty."
Then he banged his thing against the thing I stood up and Daniel hugged his client and the ran over to me.
He hugged me I could tell he wanted me in his arms.
I said "Daniel I'm to heavy."
He said "Joseph your skinny."
I hopped into his arms and he hugged me.
I looked at him and he kissed me.
He set me down and we walked out. There was tons of people outside cheering and news reporters.
Tons of people asking questions but he just pushed threw while holding my hand.
We walked to his car and when we got in he said "That was my first case, how do you think I did?"
I said "Good!"
He said "I've been working on that one for a year."
I said "Wow."
He said "You didn't know what the fuck was going on did you."
I said "Yeah."
