Guardian Gang

You sniffed in the air and rolled over, causing pain to erupt up through your arm. You used your right arm and rubbed your eyes. Sitting up, you saw familiar surroundings. Though you had only spent a few hours in your new room, you instantly knew where you were. Evan must be pissed.

You looked around more intently now that your eyes focused. All the bags that you were holding when Ohm got hit were sitting by your desk. You stook up and waited for your head to calm with a hand on the wall. Then you opened the door and walked down the stairs.

You were grateful that the pain was faint in your arm, but a slight headache made thinking a challenge. All you wanted was some Advil and a chance to see Ohm. A few people sat around in the common space, and they all looked at you when you sat down on a couch.

Instantly, like moths attracted to light, they surrounded you.

"How are you?" Delirious, Nogla, Brian, and Moo all spoke at the same time.

You couldn't help but smile.

"I am good." You cringed as your head throbbed.

"Good. Because that was the stupidest thing to ever be done!" Delirious yelled.

"Maybah it was bast that Ohm went to get halp." Nogla suggested. Brian nodded.

"We care about you," Moo smiled looking worried.

"Thanks guys. But I couldn't leave Ohm." A hand on your shoulder made you glace up. Luke handed you a glass of water and a bottle of Advil.

"Why are you such a dumbass?" Luke sighed. We all had to deal with Evan when you were gone. He was pissed to all hell."

"Sorry, you sighed. You paused to chug down some water, popping the pills in and swallowing. "I was desperate."

"You were stupid." Brian sighed.

"I am well aware," you sighed. "But it was worth it. Where is Ohm?"

"He has been in his room." The tone of Moo's voice made it seem grave. You were instantly even more worried.

"I am going to see him," you said, standing up. When no one stopped you, you rushed up the stairs and came to a hault at his door.

Softly, you knocked.
