You knocked on the door and heard the soft hum of two speaking quietly. One stood up, and you heard them walk to the door. The door opened, and you found yourself face-to-face with Evan. He looked pissed just like you were worried about.

"You are to be out of that room immediately after speaking to him," he practically growled. "Nothing else."

He left, and you finally turned to look at Ohm.

He didn't look too good. His arms were covered in bruises and a faint, blue bump decorated his forehead. He had a bandage wrapped around his wrist and a few other little things. But he was alive and breathing.

"Hey." He spoke first, his eyes open and his mouth smiling. You found yourself staring into his hazel-colored eyes. It was only then that you realized how much you missed him.

"I haven't been able to see you in...in..." You never figured out how long it had been since the accident.

"Three days." Ohm finished. "The doctors were worried that you had a severe concussion."

"How did you know?" You were in a secured cell?" You asked, confused.

"Nice nurse," he shrugged. "I was worried about you."

"Me? You were the one who stopped breathing!"

"And from what I have been told, you saved me and then got hit to join me. Sounds like you went through more."

You blushed, having realized how it must seem.

"So, what is up with Vanoss?" You tried to change the subject, sitting down next to him in bed.

Ohm sighed, and you could tell something other than pain was bothering him. You opened your mouth to speak and closed it again; noticing that he had twitched his mouth.

"Evan...." He rubbed his lip with his bandage-free arm. "Evan says that we are forbidden to be together."

"Like in the same area?" You asked, confused.

"No. Like, as a couple together."

Technically, you both weren't dating. After all, you had just met him a little over a week ago. But you knew what he meant.

"What can we do? Because I need to be with you." You sighed, and rested your hands on your face.

"Who said I was listening to him just because he is in charge here, doesn't mean he rules my life. And that is you, Y/N. Only-"

A thump on the door made him stop and you both freeze.

"Chill," Delirious's voice went through the door. "Ryan, you are really loud. And Evan says to be down in the room in five."

"Everyone?" You raised an eyebrow.

"Just you and Ryan for now. We will all join afterwards." He left and you heard him jog down the stairs, towards the light rumble of voices.

"Welp." You stood up. "Can you even get up?" You asked.

"I was in the hospital three days and was fine by the second. I am just that tough." He pretended to flex, but you saw pain flash through his eyes.

Pretending you didn't notice, you smiled and carefully helped him out of the room and down the stairs. You reached the meeting door and knocked.

A throat clear signified that you both were to enter. You breathed in and stepped inside.
