my words repeated through your razor blade lips sound just as sweet / fingers without roses seem to lack the smell of thorns / but I know / that two-am-tunes will always be tainted with toxicity / that " you cant have me " kind of text / that late night / stark white text / marijuana smoke until I can't feel your aches

two am looks back at me in the mirror / asks if you like your girls with cornflower blue dreams or if your so / washed in lilac agony that you cant bear the sound of your own name anymore / if you know what you do when you pull the trigger / bullets fashioned out of two am / cannibalistic whispers / row of shark teeth / stark white as the gleam in your eyes but nothing like the crimson blood staining your hands

whiskey can't make you forget the sloppy tongue alphabet / carved into the side of my cheek / a princess like you claimed I was shouldnt wake up with salty frog memories / grass stains cant cover this up / cant fix this / can't sew stitches between heartstrings left on the turf / two am and the streetlights make me see deep into your skull / nothing left but ruins of rome / and three beat verses

its two am and I'm missing your black hole / devour my light / make the eyes looking back at me remove themselves from Venus / a guy from Mars / an alien like you / should be able to cast a two am spell and make it last longer / then the time it takes for three rose petals to hit the linoleum
