(Pic is Jax)

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock in my ear. School was going to be interesting. I wondered if Sammy and I's honeymoon would last. One way to find out.

I went through the usual rutine and drove to school. I went to my first hour. Then second then third. Fourth, then lunch. During lunch I sat at my usual table, but this time Sammy sat down with me. We talked about class, how I had Jax as my partner in writing.

"So, how did that happen? You didn't ask him, obviously." I pretended to be hurt by her comment.

"He came over to my lonely ass, asked me if he wanted to be partners, then introduced himself."

"And you excepted his offer?" She asked skeptically.

"He pointed out that I was the only one who didn't have a partner. He was right too," speek of the devil and he shall appear. "Hey Jax," I greeted. Sammy wiped her head around to see him. Her eyes widened when she saw him. Yes Sammy, he's attractive, get over it.

What, I can't piont out obvious facts?

"Hey Alex, Sammy," He sat down next to me, still leaving about three fourths of a foot between us.

"So, you're Jax," Sammy said.

"That's right. Lex over here tell you about me?" He raised a brow.

"Oh, all about you," Sammy said, making it sound like I like him. I rolled my eyes and glared at Sammy. She giggled.

"Did she now?" He laughed.

"Guuuyys," I whined,"Stop laughing at me. I didn't know Jax until Friday, and there's nothing to talk about," I stated, making Jax pretend to get his feelings hurt and Sammy laugh her ass off.

"Okay, so I really came over to ask if you wanted to work on the project tonight? My place," He asked.

"I don't have any other plans, so sure. What time?"

"How about after school? I could drive you there."

"How about you pick me up at five thirty. I'll need your number so that I can text you the address," I suggested.

"How about you give me your number and I text you my address," He counter offered.

"Okay, sounds good." He hands me his phone, the screen displaying the add contacts. I put my number in, and put my name as Lex. "Okay, there you go. See you tonight Jax."

"See ya round Lex," He replies and goes to sit with his friends.

"You guys would be a cute couple," Sammy states plainly.

"Sammy," I said exasperated,"I don't date. I'm supposed to stay in the background. I didn't have any freinds here before you," I say to shut her up. We eat in silence. I say by and go to my next class. I almost fall asleep, but manage not to. Next I have writing with Jax. I walk in and sit down. We don't have any assigned sets in this class, so guess who sits by me for the first time. If you guessed Jax, you get a high five!

"You gunna sit by me for the rest of the year?" I ask.

"Sure am. You and I are stuck in the back for the rest of the year. Which, may I mention, is only, like, one and a half more months."

"Only if you promise not to listen to any of that pop/rap music for the rest of the year," I bargain.

"Deal. Never really listened to it in the first place." That suprised me.

Class started, not leaving me time to respond.
