(Pic of Will)
He looked at me and smiled. I got up and imeadiatly fell on my ass. Great way to show your brother how you are doing in the human world. I thought. His form hovered over mine as he offered his hand to help me up. I took it and he yanked me into his signature bear hug. I hugged back just as tightly.
"You're still alive," he teased as he pulled back to look at me.
"Yeah, I'm surviving. How... why..." I stopped as someone cleared their throat.
"Alex, who is this?" Thea asked skeptically.
"Thea, this is my brother, Will. Will, this is one of my freinds, Thea," I introduced.
"Hi," she greeted shyly, not so protective knowing who the stranger was.
"Hello," Will said, holding his hand out to shake her's. She shook it and practically hid behind me. He turned to me. "You have freinds? Not just one, but multiple?"
"Yeah, suprise, suprise. Shut up. How have you been? Do you have a place to stay while.... vistiting?" I had to guess he was visiting for mabey a few months.
"Yeah, I'm staying at a nearby hotel."
"Can you follow me to my house afterwords?" I asked. "There are a few things I want to talk to you about and show you," I said, remembering Chester.
"Yeah, sure. But let's have fun here first."
"Sounds like a plan. Com' on!" I shouted over the music as I went to find the others.
I spotted Jax and Sammy talking together, skating in a circle on the floor. I motioned for them to cone over. They exited the rink, and Sammy stood in a defensive stance as soon as saw Will. It was kinda funny, givin she was on rollerblades.
"Who is this?" She asked skeptically.
"Bro, chill," Jax told Sammy. "But seriously, who is this?"
"This is my brother. He is... at a nearby university. I didn't know he would be in town," I explained/introduced.
"Will," he introduced himself, holding his hand out. Jax took it and shook once.
"Jax," he said. "Well, I'm gonna go skate now," he said awkwardly.
"Me too," Thea chimed. They turned and went back into the skating rink.
"So this is him?" Sammy mused.
"Why is a she here, in your vicinity, acting as if she knows you?" Will prompted, none to calmly.
"You might be suprised to find that she is quite nice and enjoyable. Even that she is my friend," I replied.
"She is your friend? Mom and the others would be so disappointed-" he babbled until I cut him off.
"And what do you think?" I asked bravely.
"I... I don't know what to think," he admitted. "I'll take some time to mull it over." He rubbed his temples.
"Alex, he needs to leave. If Killian finds us talking here, he'll try to kill him. If he sees this, you lose your friendship with him, which inevitably means both of us. Please," Sammy pleaded.
"I'll leave. Alex, where is your house?"
I gave him my adress and he left. I turned to Sammy. "So, he was kinda rude. But what can you expect when we were raised to hate each other," I tried.
"He will learn to be friendly, at least for your sake. I can see it. He'd do anything for you."
"Thanks," I mumbled.
