(Caspian)

I arrived at school and got out of the jeep. I swung my backpack on my shoulder and walked to the entrance. Once in the school, I went to my locker. Opening it, I noticed the people next to me. A short girl with brown hair and brown eyes on my left, and a tall African-American guy on my right. I never really noticed them until now. I wondered what their names were, but never had the chance ask. He left to go to class and the gang came walking down the hall to me.

"You're back," Finn noted.

"Yes, thanks for your observation Captain Obvious," Jax drawled.

"Play nice guys, at least while I'm here," I pled.

"I haven't gotten my word in yet!" Caspian complained. "You don't look like you were sick."

"Meh, it was a cold and mental sick day," I confessed.

"Well you're here now!" Thea said. "Now I want to know what you did yesterday."

"Well I did homework, planned for the sleepover, and slept. Oh! And we're going skating this afternoon."

"Cool," Sera muttered.

I got my stuff and started walking down the hall with everyone. I wondered what skating was like. How many people would be there? I would probably make a fool of myself knowing me.

"I have something to confess," Finn announced. "I have never been skating."

Jax gasped, Sera's face showed shock, and Thea face-palmed. I turned into Physics and sat in my chair leaving everyone wondering where I went.

"Sup Sam," I greeted as I sat down.

"Hey Lex," she returned.

"Hello ladies," Killian said as he sat down behind me.

"I only have two and a half more weeks of school to go before summer. Thank goodness," I assured myself. I can't wait for all that summer holds.

"Guys, I have some news for you," Killian said, ignoring my statement. "I saw an orc last night while I was hunting. He saw me and tried to run but I killed him. He was carrying a map of earth, a shitty dagger, and a letter. I can't read orc so I have no idea what it says. I have a bad feeling about it though."

Mr. Smith came in, interrupting our conversation and adressed the class, "Hello, everyone's here so let's get to work."

We worked until the bell rang, practically running out when it did. Caspian walked up to Sammy and I, keeping pace with us.

"So you guys know how to skate?" He asked.

"Yep," Sammy replied. I stayed quiet.

He peired over at me. "And you?"

"Aahh, no."

"So I'm not alone. See y'all at lunch!" He said, walking away.

I sat at my usual table, only today it was Sammy on my left, Caspian on my right, Thea on his other side, and Killian on Sammy's left. The others were probably sitting with the in-crowd.

"So what are the plans for the sleepover?" Thea asked.

"On Thursday the girls and I are painting nails and stuff. Friday we're baking," I saw Sammy's exasperated expression and added, "I changed the plans a little bit. Saterday is swimming and hamburgers. Also exploring the woods behind my house," I concluded.

"I like it. The exploring part especially," Caspian comented.

"She makes the best burgers," Sammy muttered.
