"And then I was like– ow!" Michelangelo was rudely interrupted by a smack in the head.
"Shut it, Mikey," yelled Raphael. "We know what happened. We were there."
Mikey was bragging about how he had saved his brothers from the mutant wasp they stumbled upon that day.
"Yeah, but you were possessed," Mikey said.
"Mikey, we weren't possessed," Donatello sighed. Raph wasn't the only one getting tired of Mikey's repetitive story. "We were–."
"When are we going home?" interrupted Mikey, not wanting to hear another one of Donnie's famous lectures about science. "I don't think we are going to find her tonight either."
"We have been looking for her for days now, Leo," Donnie said.
"Face it, Leo," said Raph. "We aren't going to find her."
They have been searching for her ever since their first encounter on that roof. Raph, Donnie, and Mikey were starting to lose hope while Leonardo never seemed to stop looking for her.
Leo glared off into the distance. "Go home," he said.
"Finally," said Raph, walking towards the edge of the roof.
Donnie stopped Raph by putting his hand on his shoulder. "You're not coming with us?" he asked.
"No," Leo answered. "I'm going to keep looking."
"Okay. Fine with me," said Raph. "Have fun." With that said, Raph went home.
"Are you sure you don't want to come home with us?" Mikey asked with concern in his voice.
"I'm sure," Leo replied.
"Don't stay out too late," said Donnie.
Then, Mikey and Donnie went home.
Leo sighed. He had no idea why he was so interested in finding the mutant they hadn't seen in days. Maybe it was because he was worried for his brothers. That she would hurt them.
Or maybe it was because he had feelings towards her, he didn't know. She did look beautiful, and she was an excellent fighter.
Or maybe the reason he was looking for her was that she needed help. He saw Karai in her. The girl he fought on that rooftop, the girl that almost killed his little brother, was acting like someone she was not. He saw good in her, just like he saw good in Karai. Though his brothers don't believe him, his heart was telling him he was right. That there is good in both the girls he fought.
But after finding out that Karai was Shredder's daughter, he started to give in to what his brothers were saying, though he still might have feelings for Karai. Now, he isn't going to give up on this new girl. The girl who had taken down all four of them without breaking a single sweat.
He jumped to the next rooftop to continue his search.

Akiko snuck out of the Foot headquarters. She knew that the consequences of sneaking out would be deadly, but she needed the fresh air.
She ran across the rooftops, trying to ignore the pain in her left ankle.
After running for some time, Akiko's ankle was starting to plead to her for a break, and she gave in.
"Stupid ankle," she whispered as she leaned against a chimney on a rooftop.
She gasped as a stinging pain shot up her right arm.
