Star's POV
I'll just make it if I hurry; I hope Marco made it okay. Oh, there's Marco and Jackie. I started to wave to them "Hey Marco, Jac..." I stopped in my tracks. Jackie went to kiss Marco and Marco kissed her back. I wish I hadn't seen them kiss. I wish Marco would kiss me. There's no way he thinks of me that way. He wouldn't ever kiss me. Tears came to my eyes so I fought them down like I've learned to do. I can't let Marco see me cry, he'll worry. Oh no he's looking right at me. I can't talk to him like this. I dart to our classroom. "Hey Star wait!" I heard Marco call out. I just ignore him.
Marco's POV
"Hey Star wait!"
Maybe she didn't hear me. She didn't look well at all. "Hey Marco are you okay?" Jackie asked. "Yeah I'm fine, it's nothing." I need to find out what's wrong with Star. "Hey I'm gonna head to class okay."
"Yeah okay. Are you sure you're alright Marco? You can talk to me."
I went to hold Jackie's hand her hands were so soft and warm. " Yeah I'm fine. Don't worry."
"Alright Marco"
I go straight to our classroom.Walking through the hallways. "Man, nothing changes around hear." Star is the biggest change I've ever had to go through lol. I'm so happy Star is hear; I need to figure out what's wrong with her. I can't stand to see her sad.
I walk into the classroom and find Star at her desk with her head down. I put my hands down and lean over her desk. "Hey Star, are you feeling okay?"
Star lifts her head up and looks into her eyes. " Yeah Marco I'm fine." Her face turned red and myne must have as well. I didn't realize how close our faces were to each other. I quickly backed up. Star put her head back down. "Are you sure Star? You can talk to me about anything." Star kept her head down and wave a hand at me. "I know I can talk to you Marco, but really I'm okay."
"Okay Star if you say so." Class is about to start kids flood into the classroom and i go to take my seat. I look over to Star and she still has her head down. This is giving me a sick feeling and want to see her happy.

"I'm not okay."
