When Heather was in kindergarten she was bullied pretty badly, or at least as bad as the bullying could get at that age.
She was always made fun of for how skinny she was, being called names like "string bean" or "twig". Nobody would want to sit with her at recess or even partner up with her in class. Basically, she was the Martha of kindergarten. Always looked down upon for everything she did.
All of this caused her to become extremely antisocial; she'd sit by herself, talk to herself, and play by herself far away from all of the other students.
