My Dark Guardian Angel

The Princess' Team

Chapter Two:

She sat quietly as the classroom roared with gossiping and laughter, her eyes downcasted onto the table in front of her, staying out of complete sight and not uttering a single word. Her hair was still in its hime cut with the strands now going down to her chin, framing her pale face. She wore a large cream fur-cuffed sweater with mid-calf long cerulean blue slacks and blue zori. Around her neck sat a blue clothed hitai-ate. The reason she wasn't fidgeting nervously was because the calming, soothing aura of Dimitri, her dark guardian angel, filled her being as he hid in the shadows. She could image his bronze eyes flickering for any signs of threats as his eyebrows furrowed in concentration, his largely folded dark grey wings resting on his back, ready to take flight at any given moment. She smiled slightly at the desk, remembering when she had made him cinnamon rolls for his birth-

"SAKURA-CHAAAAAN!!!"

-day. Her shoulders sagged in defeat as she heard her crush sing out another girl's name with said girl giving an air of annoyance. She could feel Dimitri's questioning gaze on her back and she ignored it, watching her crush ask constantly for a date when he finally stopped talking with a heavy punch to the head, making him fall down with a pout as he held his head with Sakura glaring at him. Naruto ignored her glare and sat on the desk of Sasuke Uchiha, glaring at him and said Uchiha did the same, electricity sparking in their glare, as Sakura and Ino yelled at Naruto to get away from "my Sasuke-kun!". A kid, meanwhile was talking excitedly with his friends, and accidently bumped into Naruto which made him apologize before continuing talking with his friends, oblivious to the beating he had caused for Naruto. Naruto's eyes widened as he descended onto Sasuke who had his eyes wide as well, their faces pale with horror.

MUAH!!!

Hinata covered her burning face with her hands when she saw her crush kissing every other girls' crush. She heard horrified screeches of the Uchiha Fangirls then the yells of her own crush being violated by said fangirls. Minutes later, Naruto was covered in cuts and bruises, rubbing a particular sore spot on his left bicep, as Iruka walked in the class, calling for attention by using his Big Head Justu.

Needless to say, if he didn't have their attention, he definitely had it now.

And then, came his speech very few listened to, but Hinata did and grew inspired by her teacher's words of encouragement towards the whole class. When the speech ended, he began assigning teams, reading them off of a paper clipped to a brown clipboard. "Team Seven will consist of Naruto Uzumaki, Kiba Inuzuka, and Hinata Hyūga under the tutelage of Kakashi Hatake." Everyone was quiet, not sure how to take that in. Well...almost everyone.

"WHAT?!?!"

"NOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

Naruto and Kiba yelled with Akamaru whining at the volume the two have taken up while Hinata was frozen in shock. I-Im in a team with...Naruto-kun and Kiba-kun? Hinata thought with disbelief at being in a team with her crush and best friend as Dimitri softly sighed at the princess. "Why am I in a team with dog boy?! Hinata-chan I don't mind, but dog boy?! Nu-uh! A big, fat NO NO!!!" Naruto ended with a mighty yell. Hinata blushed as she inwardly squealed, he called me 'Hinata-chan'! Kiba heatedly glared at the blonde boy as he snarkily replied, "It's not like I wanted to be in your team, YA BLONDE FUCKING IDIOT!!!"

"I AM NOT AN IDIOT!"

"OH YEAH?!"

"YEAH!"

"SO YOU'RE AN IDIOT?!"

"NO!"

"ARE YOU SURE?"

"YEAH!"

"THEN WHAT'S TWO PLUS TWO?!"

"FOUR, IDIOT!"

"NO IT'S TWENTY-TWO!"

"Oh..."

Kiba was then full blown laughing, his face red as he did so.

"YOU FELL FOR IT! IT'S ACTUALLY FOUR!"

Kiba roared with laughter, tears rolling down his cheeks, as Naruto fumed, his face red from anger and embarrassment. Hinata was softly giggling as the argument continued until Iruka finally had enough.

"ENOUGH!"

Naruto and Kiba closed their mouths, their eyes wide with fear for the angry teacher as they quickly sat down, silent. Iruka sighed and continued, "Team Eight will consist of Sasuke Uchiha, Shino Aburame, and Ino Yamanaka under the tutelage of Kurenai Yuhi."

"HELL YEAH! IN YOUR FACE BILLBOARD BROW!!"

Was Ino's cheer as she did a little dance in her seat with Sakura glaring heatedly at her. Iruka let out another sigh. "Team Nine is still in rotation from last year. Team Ten will consist of Shikamaru Nara, Chouji Akimichi, and Sakura Haruno under the tutelage of Asuma Sarutobi." The bell then rang, signalling lunch had started and as the class got up to leave, Iruka suggested, "You should sit with your teams to get to know them better!" Hinata now sat underneath a tree's shade, calmly eating her zenzai, as Dimitri sat down beside her, his wings folded neatly behind him. "How do you feel about your team, Lady Amethyst?" He asked as she offered some zenzai to him which he accepted, chewing the delicious food she had made. She gave a thoughtful look before answering, "Well, Im in a team with my best friend so...I guess Im happy with that." She then smiled brightly, oblivious of what the chaos her two teammates will cause in the near future.
