The Schatten Engel Revealed!

Chapter Nine:

It's been four days since Teams Seven, Eight, Nine, and Ten got to the tower and Hinata was free from Orochimaru's cursed seal thanks to Dimitri. "That man's seal didn't make you worse," He reassured, but then said, "He just made your human form weaker." She was brought back to reality when the first match was called.

Sasuke's match.

He did well, but when his opponent from Otogakure informed him of his special chakra stealing ability, he quickly finished it with his Lion Barrage with some of the moves in the combo she recognized as her cousin's teammate's moves.

Shino's match was next.

She smiled in victory when he quickly won with the Otogakure nin. She then frowned in thought. What's with Otogakure nin and their arrogancy? Match after match and Hinata was growing bored until she read on the electric board a match that'll be interesting...

Hinata Hyūga vs Sakura Haruno

...to fight in. She walked down the stairs as Sakura did the same on the other side, her emerald green eyes glaring at her with so much hatred, it surprised the Hyūga. They reached the fighting floor and slid into their fighting stances, Hinata in her Jūho stance and Sakura in the academy's stance. "Hajime (Begin)!" Sakura formed three clones and poured chakra into her feet all at once and charged at Hinata who had her eyes closed in serenity which made Sakura smirk. Yes! She gave up! Now, I can pound her into the ground and show them that I am better than that whore! She pulled her fist back and delievered...only to get shot back harshly from the destruction of the Raiton: Kage Bunshin technique. Sakura groaned as she shakingly got up, her Bunshin gone, and her eyes saw a calm, serene Hinata patiently waiting for her to retaliate, her lilac eyes calculating. Angry, Sakura roared in anger and punched the ground with a chakra-enhanced fist, forming a mini earthquake. Hinata pumped chakra into her legs and jumped, dodging the rock spears that rocketed out of the ground. She landed on the railing in a crouch before slowly standing up, her hand morphed into a half ram sign as she whispered, "Kirigakure no Justu (Hidden Mist Technique)." Heavy mist began to form below, masking Sakura's view as she blindly looked around for the Hyūga with said Hyūga silently jumping down onto the rock speared covered ground. Hinata silently made three Kage Bunshins and the four Hinatas crept their way around the enraged pinkette. Suddenly, the pinkette smirked.

"I know who you really are, Hi-na-ta!"

She sang Hinata's name, making her eyes narrow on the pinkette as her clones did the same. On the balcony, Team Seven tensed at the pinkette's words, their eyes narrowing as Akamaru growled warningly.

"Hinata Hyūga, all you are is a lowly classed spoiled whore who only thinks for herself!"

Team Seven and Hinata sighed in relief and Hinata placed a hand over her heart. Sakura sure did give her a scare there. For a minute there, she thought she was going to reveal her true heritage. She signalled her clones to attack the pink banshee. They cut off the chakra in her arms and legs, making her fall onto the ground like a rag doll, and the mist cleared, revealing a Byakugan-wielding, dangerously calm Hinata who had her hand on Sakura's heart with the pinkette glaring at her.

"Forfeit,"

Sakura growled, refusing Hinata's demand to quit, as her emerald eyes glared harshly. The pinkette's glare didn't faze the Hyūga at all and she asked kindly once more,

"Forfeit."

Sakura's glare never left as she gave a knowing smirk at her which made Hinata's eyes narrow once more, daring her to say what was on her mind...provoking her to take the dangerous risk of loosing her abilities to become a kunoichi...forever. Sakura's smirk just widened at Hinata's daring-provoking-gaze and opened her mouth to speak those words that'll make her be silenced.

"I forfeit, Amethyst Kluge."

Hinata quickly knocked her out, numbness filling her being as she watched an unconcious Sakura be wheeled out by the medics before ascending the stairs. She nodded mutely at her friends' praises as she heard the proctor declare her winner of the match. She stayed quiet, even when her teammate's fought each other with Naruto coming out as victor, even when Neji fought the Oto nin and won, even when Lee came this close to dying if it weren't for the actions of Gai, Neji, Kurenai, and Asuma. She looked at the board to see the matches that'll be held next month.

Shikamaru Nara vs Hinata Hyūga

Temari no Sabaku vs Ino Yamanaka

She held a determined look as she exited out of the tower with her team in tow. All she could think off as they left was:
